  1. Ruddy heck. This is bordering on the helpful- most unlike the current posts on here at the moment . Thanks CK.
  2. Slightly OT . I recall standing on the terraces in Arnhem during the UEFA cup run. There was a group of blokes, with no colours , singing about the IRA , and stirring up trouble with the Dutch fans. This bunch weren't at all interested in the game , but became the focus of the local police. It got so uncomfortable that we moved away. No idea if they were real City fans, or had just jumped onboard for some continental agro.
  3. Can only assume this is a different Big Sam from the one with a very healthy bank balance following a reasonably successful managerial career , a nice payoff from the FA and a steady income from Sky/ Talksport. The Big Sam I’m describing wouldn’t cross the road to manage in Div 3 however many statues they put up. 😂😂🤣
  4. What a wonderful start to the day. A blo0dy good belly laugh. The thought that either manager would go to a Div 3 struggler is priceless. But why stop there ? Surely they could get Deschamps who may be looking for a new job soon? Promise him a statue and anything could happen😂
  5. Oh dear. I see James “Holty” Norwood has risen through the ranks to become their Papa John’s Key Striker . I assume he gets a lift home? 🚗
  6. Zoe is never going to turn down an opportunity to network in this sort of company and nor should she. Congratulations to her .
  7. The train home on Saturday. Spirits were beginning to rise as a few of the Canaries had had a few more beers , a card school was underway , and a ladies hen party travelling back from London had joined in. However , the best part of the trip was pulling into Binland - and a few ITFC shirts were spotted . A happy rendition of “5.2 to the Wanderers” rang out from many carriages. Without doubt a highlight . Anyone that isn’t interested in the Binners , doesn’t remember the stick we all got when they actually had a decent side . Long may it continue to soften the blow when we lose.
  8. I like the classics “Yes , no , definitely” or “110%” Shearer is a dinosaur. He played when shirts were baggy , pitches were muddy and the ball had a lace in it .* *two of these are correct
  9. For the sake of balance can I just say that I currently LOVE talking about 1p5wich and will happily continue at every opportunity as things currently stand . Many thanks GPB.
  10. Makin , I recall, was a particularly odious sort who came on here to explain the intricacies of international pension funds and the minutiae surrounding the new structure of the ownership. I use the term odious for the following reasons . 1 Nobody asked for his, or any other other binner’s opinion 2 it was done in one of those awful “I come in peace” routines that everyone knows is cobblers 3 see point 1
  11. 😂 Sorry I meant Gorleston . Don’t get me started about Gorleston 😡😡
  12. He also thinks Kings Lynn are a local rival. Me, I think it’s Wroxham. I hate those guys with a passion. 😡
  13. Listening to the fans in pubs , the train and at the match yesterday there is no suggestion of getting rid of Farke. Those of us that actually saw the game , saw a relatively poor Arsenal side who like others did not allow us to play the football that easily wins the Championship. In the championship this football creates enough chances to allow us to miss a few of them. In prem it does not . This is the issue that the fans are talking about . Not the noisy “it’s a disaster/ it’s all perfectly fine” fans but the thoughtful fans that have watched us play and have reached their own conclusions. Farke and his coaching team have yet to convince “football” that they can do so effectively in the Prem. this is what the media are saying , and this is what many Norwich fans are saying too. So whilst those questions can sensibly be asked , the debate will properly continue .There is every chance that Farke will demonstrate that he can given that he is a great coach and highly intelligent. Underneath the noise .
  14. Drama Queens? I think you may be mixing us up with your favourite tv show Nutty . I hear RuPaul is very popular and well done for broadening your horizons ! 👏
  15. Found it hard today. I love the emirates and a beer in the Old Red Lion , but we are just not competing- especially second half . Anyone that tells me to go and support another team can fùck off btw.
  16. Oh dear Sam. If you really don’t get the pleasure those w4nkers are giving me right now , sitting in London waiting to get the train back to Norwich for a two hour journey , you are a rum ole boy.
  17. In think Katie means Carrow Road ? PS I can report that a Cabbage Sanders bus is all ready for action - parked outside the South Stand .
  18. I lost interest in Ladies tennis when Evonne Goolagong changed her name .
  19. Bravo Baggies. An excellent response Compare and contrast the Suarez issue with Liverpool (another proven racist ) . Complete with supporting T Shirts worn by the players (including Jordan Henderson MBE) .
