It’s very poor. The ticket office seems to lack any ability to calculate potential numbers. Games in London are always more popular than the likes of Burnley, yet Chelsea barely reached Group 3. The club are close to being liable for selling away memberships under false pretences.

I agree. As I said I can understand Brentford, but I’m still suspicious that we took a reduced allocation for Chelsea, however it’s very impressive if we sold out without doing that.

I agree. Attendances used to be stated at every game and all match results contained them. Increasingly they are becoming harder to find. Even at Norwich the programme used to state both the attendance and the number of away fans for all of the games. Now this is nowhere to be found. I think clubs are finding it harder to fill stadiums, probably because people got out of the habit in the Covid era. Once again this isn’t really happening at Carrow Road, but our away attendances are down.

I quite like this, providing PLM and Normann can hold the midfield. Some thoughts about Andy O to replace one of the others at the back and I’d play Williams ahead of Gianoulis, but I think this gives us as good a chance as any.

From what I’ve seen I still think Cantwell is the biggest natural talent we have. Hopefully he will be back next week and we can find a way to include him. Norman did seem to be creating chances ( and taking them) yesterday. I think we need to remember that we do need some depth at this level.
