1. Of course John add NICSA who did a hell of a lot more than raise funds
  2. Happy days indeed Eddie, thank you for your kind words. We all did our bit and got the fans behind raising money for the Academy lads. Yes Murphy’s plus a few more who went on to win the FAY cup. Like yourself I now have a Bond and thanks to Bond holders Colney has changed dramatically in last few months and looks very good and professional. Merry Christmas to you & your family OTBC
  3. It was recently announced that the Ambassadors 250 club has been wound up,(with a request to support the NCFC Academy Jackpot draw). Total raised for our Academy since 1996? £375,000 a fantastic achievement. Then add the £364,000 raised by Friends of Norwich City Youth (FONCY) - 1996 to 2012 (when forced to wind up by a former CEO) Not forgetting the PUP's for whom I don't have a figure. Eddie can you advise? So these 3 groups with the support of fans & local buisinesses have raised circa £750,000. Wow! Well done to all Apologies to any groups I have missed
  4. Did not get asked for ID but they insisted on initially back of ticket. The stewards on outside of my entry turnstile were from Colchester United FC & commented about mixed messages on what exactly they should be doing. Not sure what the exercise achieved.

    Beam back

How about NCFC funding a free pie & pint for those who travel to Cardiff in the cup?

    Beam back

Including pie & pint. Would you attend beam back for £5 if this "pie & pint" gesture was not offered?

    Germany pre-season tour
No it isn''t. It''s work.
Pre-season is an important time for any football club. You know that. Its about preparation, fitness, knitting together the new group and a whole host of other things. It isn''t a jolly up for staff, players or fans. You can''t just expect to walk into their workplace whenever you want or complain because the club aren''t putting together some sort of detailed itinery for fans to come out and watch the games. What if the clubs we''re playing consider these to be off limits to fans or spectators of any kind?
If the information coming out of the club about them is vague then thats because things are not set in stone-we do have the plans and itineries of the other clubs involved to take into consideration as well.
There are plenty of pre-season games being played here for us all to go to and details of those are widely available.
Norwich City isn''t "access all areas", especially in pre-season.
But the club can''t win. Because if if pre-season was access all areas, you and your infinite alter egos would be on here saying what a shambles it was, unprofessional, laughing stock etc etc.

    Having Trust in the future
In light of the announcement earlier today that both Norwich and 1p5wich will be jumping down on anybody posting offensive comments on social media in the lead up to the derby in conjunction with the Police which may provoke or incite trouble that could end up in bans how about this from the Trust chairman........Good work. There are some vile scum out there. Some have even been allowed to breed.A considered and classy response don''t you think ?
Then there is the "Retard" tweet which he has apologised for so that''s OK then?

Is it even giving its members a voice? Or is it just giving a few of its own board a voice?
My guess the latter. Unless they offer,by rotation, a chance for members to attend the meetings with club.

    Having Trust in the future

"Giving the fans a voice" & for £12 per annum membership.

I quote from Robin Sainty''s twitter account when someone enquiring about joining the Trust "You''ll also get feed back on our meetings with the club by the way."

So where does that leave those who choose either not to join Trust or simply cannot afford too?

So it''s Giving a few "fans" a voice but not an ear to the majority?

Ah yes I see where you are coming from on SCG. Going forward? Agree with you

As I understand it, though, the SCG had an obvious design flaw, in that the members were invited to join by the club, so there was a perception, rightly or wrongly, that it was the club only talking to favourite people it approved of.
The SCG was indeed by invite only but it embraced representation from the local branch of the FSA,NCISA,Northern Canaries,Capital Canaries, FONCY,The Ambassadors Club,Club Canary and The Historical Trust. The Norwich City Trust ( now Canaries Trust ) were invited but never attended.
And it worked very well for a time but got a bit stale.
The club have signed a memorandum of understanding (I think that is a posh way of describing an agreement) with the Canaries Trust, promising consultation on decisions affecting the identity of the club:http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/norwich-city-canaries-trust-unveil-new-agreement-1-5378184A real feather in the cap of the Trust and excellent news which I know will be welcomed by all posters here.
Nothing new hear we had the Supporters Consultative Group from mid 90''s onwards. No formal agreement was in place with club or needed

    U18's City 5-3 Binners

Yes please do ask. I’m not sure what the job title is or means but it’s very much “non-communication”. From your seat in the City stand I’m sure you can see just before ko he does match day marshalling of photographers - what is that all about? And without an orange jacket too!
