1.
While his ability to sustain it at the top level is under question, his desire and determination is not. A captains performance today to see us over the line. Top notch commitment.
He had a poor game first half. Second half he was vital. Both goals came directly from him (Rebound off his header for first, pressured keeper into flapping for the second) and he was excellent in the last 2 or 3 minutes at keeping the ball in the corners, winning free kicks etc. Agree his leadership, desire and determination were a massive factor in getting us the win today.
 2. Massively over-rated and a total kn*bend too.Never worth £18mill even if we could afford that. Suarez only cost Liverpool £23mill. For that kind of money I can think of about 150 players I would rather spend it on.If the price tag were realistic, say 6-7million then it''d be worth considering. We''re talking about a player who averages 1 goal every 5 games in the Prem. That''s 8 per season, and some of you would shell out nearly £20mill for that? It''s actually mental. The only reason Carroll is even mentioned in that price bracket is because Liverpool spunked most of their Torres money on him, paying about 4 times his market value, and they''re not going to take a loss of £28-30mill on him.
 3.
Barnett was a stalwart for us in League 1?  Eh???[^o)]
Oops, my mistake, that''ll teach me to post before I''m properly awake!
 4.

Whether you like it or not, we will need a 3rd and 4th choice striker.
We already have those in Jackson, Becchio, Vaughan and Chris Martin, none of whom are going to cost us a transfer fee.
Jackson, Martin out of contract in the summer and Vaughan is almost certain to be sold (for a fee).
 5. I''ve always liked Barnett, he was a stalwart for us in League 1 and Champs seasons, always put in a decent shift and was always unfairly scapegoated. As others have said, very good Champs defender, not quite up to it in the Prem. Would be nice to keep as back up but if he wants to go and Cardiff want him, then let him go.
 6. Additional to the previous post:  I would rather sign Kei and ship out Luciano, if it were a choice between the two.
 7. I would sign him up. Gives us another option up top, and he''s not an out and out striker so those judging him solely on goals are a little unfair imo. Playing the lone striker in a 4-5-1 doesn''t suit his game, but I think if it were possible to pair him with a genuine strike threat up front (such as Van Lupine Tadger), or to play him in the Hooly position in a Michu kind of role, we would see better from him. £2mill is chump change at this level and is probably not far off what we''ll get for Vaughan, so whilst maybe not a starter, he''s certainly a good option to have from the bench, and we may find that as he adapts to the English game, and we have a bit more flexibility in our formation when Wolfy gets here, that he becomes a viable first choice option.
 8. I''d agree with Chopsy for most like to meet category.Least like to meet is obvious: Wiz the W*****
 9.
God I was definitely an early bloomer by the sounds of it. I went to my first game aged 2 and a half!! Living 185miles from Carrow Road though I guess the indoctrination probably had to begin a little earlier. Hoping to take my nephew next season. He just turned 4 this month so I figure he''ll be ready in about a year or so. No kids for me yet but I look forward to being in the situation you''re in now!! Best of luck A1 - do report back on how it goes, I for one would like to find out!
I should add my first game was Vile away, and I spent most of the game watching Lenny the lion or whatever their mascot is called.

 11.

Semi-final shouldn''t be held at Wembly then this wouldn''t be such a problem. Villa park would have been a better venue and it would of sold out with a great atmosphere.
spot on   the final is debased enough as it is now, without this being a game that (crowd wise) will look like some paintpot Trophy final
Agreed
 12. Im only up the road in Alfreton so Im making the short trip down to the City Ground.
 13. Lost 2-0. Ruddy played the full 90 as other posters mentioned.
 14. Aye it has been posted elsewhere but the threads have disappeared down the board. Doesnt make any odds to me as Il be at City Ground on Weds night watching The Josh and Jacob Show live.
 15.

Burning at the stake kick it off?
If it were up to me, I''d have her chopped into steak and fed to the dogs.
Have a bit of respect, she only passed a few hours ago. regardless of your political views, there is no need for such cold heartedness
No. Respect is earned, not granted because someone dies. Would you have said the same when Hitler died? She was a despicable woman and ruined the lives of millions, had people murdered, engaged with the racist Apartheid politicians and used the police to do her bidding in the most disgusting of fashions.Respect that? Don''t make me laugh. She was scum in life and she remains so in death, and as such I will afford her no courtesy.

 17.
Just one example of the miss-truths out there about her reign are regarding pit closures under the Tories.  Of course even hard facts of say, the number of pit closures under the Tories and the number of pit closures under Labour governments, wouldn''t be enough for those that wage their campaign against her.  Well of course they wouldn''t want to know the hard facts because it goes against everything they ''believe'' in.   Maggie haters when she was alive and still Maggie haters now that she is dead, no doubt some will have cracked open a bottle of bubbly upon hearing the news.   Having posted the above I know that some will be unable to accept the fact that I am NOT a champion of Margaret Thatcher.
There''s no "Mis-truth" in the fact she supported Pinochet whilst he committed genocide. Nor that she engaged with Apartheid regime when the world was trying to enforce sanctions against them. Nor in the fact she had Fincucane murdered. Nor in the fact that she enforced the illegal shoot-to-kill policy to quell the Republicans in Ireland. Nor in the fact she used police brutality to quash any protests about anything. And in addition to ALL OF THAT... She cost Norwich City a place in Europe, and covered up Hillsborough. The odd mis-truth does not sanctify her when the facts about her are widely available. Despicable woman.
 18. I''d have thought a televised coal bonfire cremation would do the trick.
 19.
I called him a ''no mark NLS Cody'' when he arrived...................how right I was.
My God. Chief Negative Tosser has returned to the board. I''m off again then before Wiz''s nonsense pushes me into depression. As I said before, and you had a hissy fit about, if you''re that miserable then just do yourself and everyone else a favour and book a one way flight to Switzerland and check yourself into dignitas you miserable cnut
 20. Just found them for anyone who''s interested. On the official everton site. Click Evertontv - u have to register with an email address but its free, i''ve just watched them on there. It''s legit.Goals are nothing to write home about. First is a tap in from an excellent low cross from Josh M, Second is a decent ball in and a tidy finish to lob the keeper as he dives, 3rd is a bit of a fluke - def slides in as keeper dives on a loose ball and Morris hurdles the pair and controls the ball as it loops up out the middle of keeper and def and rolls it into empty net. Fourth is a lovely chipped through ball from Josh and Jacob takes it really well with a controlled finish.
 21. Anyone know where I can watch them for free? Im not shelling out a fiver for a month of CW just to watch them!
 22. Coaches will cost £10.Prices for home leg are FREE for ST Holders + Members... £2 for everyone else. McNally also says that seats won''t be limited, they will open up as many as they need. All the above info from Mcnally''s Twitter.Lets have a good size crowd both home and away, and will the lads on to the final.
 23.
If anyone follows the Club Twitter feed you''ll have noticed that Josh and Jacob are involved in virtually every goal the Youth Team score. These lads look like they have the potential to be the real deal. Fingers crossed they can realise it, an exciting attacking player from the Academy is long overdue, would be amazing to get 2 of them!
Just hope they don''t get poached, but these two really look like they could be decent players.
 24.
Oh, and I''ve already heard off a few East Mids Canaries who will going to the City Ground so if anyone is being put off about being the only Norwich fan there, don''t be! We may actually get to see an away win for once [;-)]
Haha, well my mate supports Forest so if there is segregation then he can come in the away end lol. Hoping to take a few other mates too but persuading them might be a long shot I reckon!
 25.
The City Ground is just a short 30 minute drive from me so I''ll be there next Wednesday. Would be nice to see a few others come to!
Actually, that thought hadn''t occurred to me (because Im an idiot) - Im only up in Alfreton so it''s about 30mins from me too. Might have to get on board with this. Assuming it''ll be pay on the gate and no segregation?
