    You can see how far we've come by what it meant to a strong Derby team to beat us. The players were still celebrating with the Derby fans when I left the groind. I do believe there's an open top bus tour in Derby town centre tomorrow.

    The commentator just mentioned that Karanka had to approve the late change. What would happen if he didn't approve? Seems strange.

    I was more alluding to the fact it was pretty much the last kick off the game. I thought both teams were going for it at the end. I didn't view Leeds as comfortably the better side, but yes, Leeds did keep their composure at 2 down. A last gasp winner was required.

    The young sky pundit mentioned that krul will be disappointed in that first goal and I agree. I do like krul though - he's an important part of our promotion bid.

    We've had some tussles with the Leeds over the years. I remember a coupe of years ago the singer of the pigeon detectives (yes that's a band) was on soccer am. The presenter asked him why he hates Norwich after a discussion about a recent game. The singer replied - "because they're always one stop ahead of us" Too true.

    I think there's teams that talk about us a lot more than we talk about them. A lot of it down to frustration. They don't think we should be where we are.

    Vrancic is about the only player in the division that likes a short looping through ball. He offers something different when we struggle to unlock a team, keeping the ball on the deck.

    There will be 90 minutes of noise from the away stand. I once sat with the pompey fans for Colchester v Portsmouth a few years back. If they aren't singing, they're humming something. Awesome support. EDIT: I say I sat with them, but there wasn't the opportunity to sit once.
