1. I expect everything you post to be perfect lapps :p
2. Me and my Dad renewed but moved into the Jarrold so have new ones coming, his arrived yesterday but mine still hasn''t (being sent to same address as haven''t changed mine since I moved out), find that a bit strange that same addresses don''t get them the same day.
3. Last time I checked Barnsley got relegated last season and their on the list too, good article this!
4. Tend to also think that Yanic could offer a different dimension and worth keeping in the squad if only as an impact player. We don''t have anyone else so direct with that much pace (possible Onel) but I think Yanic is quicker and could be a massive option to open a tight game up for last 20 minutes etc.
5. Probably not a very popular opinion on here due to his attitude but imagine if Farke was to opt for a 5-3-2 and could get Rhodes and Oliveira working in tandem and playing well, one of the best strike forces in the league if both on form.
6. Well I am very happy that I am in the final and have won £40, I am seriously hoping this is all I win and that Emma takes the £100.
7. For anyone still wanting to go: https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2018/july/germany-pre-season-dates/ Sorry I am unsure how to hyperlink it.
8. I''m a lover not a fighter Duncan so Morgan would have me well beaten.
9. The ref was awful, Walkers shouldn''t have been given and Kane should have had two, its as if FIFA aren''t a corrupt system who would bung their referees a load of money because they all hate England. The Tunisians were the dirtiest cheats ever especially that ginger number 8. Was very much justice seeing him cry at the end.
10. My top three in no particular order: Eddie Nketiah (loan) - could be a cheap option for what would be a good striker IMO at this level, wanting to prove himself to step up season after next for Arsenal. They wont need him as have Lacazette, Aubamayang and Welbeck. Jack Marriott - We need strikers. I would get rid of Nelson, Srbeny doesn''t look up to it (hopefully prove me wrong with a full pre season). This blokes bangs them in for fun. All out break the bank for him IMO. Moritz Leitner - Haven''t signed him yet so would be in my top three. Knows the club, adapted to the league. would do well in the number 10 role to replace Maddison and I dont think would cost more than a mil to sign him up.
11. So to that logic, if Murphy goes we still have Matthews, Godfrey, Lewis, Thompson, Morris, Cantwell, Hanley, Jarvis, Watkins, Raggett. Should be ok for now.
12. £2 on Argentina to win and Lionel Messi to be top goalscorer @ 25/1 on bet365 50p on England to win the world cup and Harry Kane to be top goalscorer @ 80/1 (we can but dream cant we!).
13. Nutty I''m in. Sorry I haven''t paid you for sweepstake yet. I know its only a tenner but moneys been a bit tight since I bout my house. Will get £15 over to you tomorrow when I get paid.
14. Ruddy Naughton, Hanley, Klose, Drury Howson, Fox Redmond, Maddison, Hoolahan Holt Subs: Gunn, Olsson, Martin, Tettey, Pilkington, Jackson, Johnson
15.
I seem to be alone in thinking Gunn was merely ''ok'' - he was decent enough but there were also several errors; I don''t recall that many match-winning saves. IMO Matthews has to be given a go this coming season or he might as well leave.
You obviously didn''t go to Bristol City away then?
16.
Depends on the situation I guess. Firstly there are probably options that sit between ''back to the keeper'' and ''hoof it into the box'' on most occasions. Secondly if we''re having one of our games where we don''t look like having a shot let alone scoring I understand the frustration, especially if we keep doing it. Thirdly we''ve actually tended to have better results when we haven''t dominated possession so much. For instance our two most recent wins (Leeds and Villa) we had 52% and 43% respectively. Yet our losses to Cardiff and Sheffield came with over 60% of the ball. So the hypothesis that it is ''better to keep possession of the football'' doesn''t always seem to be true. I think it was against Leeds that there was a groan of frustration when Lewis passed the ball back to Gunn from our halfway line. I shared that frustration because on that occasion every single other Norwich player was in-front of Lewis and Reed had specifically moved into space to receive a pass.
Get exactly what your saying KC. I suppose my annoyance of people booing lies when it seems like the best option and people still boo. For example a corners come in, everyone is up in the oppo penalty box, ball gets cleared to say Lewis who turns and knocks it back to Gunn so we don''t get hit on the counter, people who boo then annoy me. I agree with you however that if there is a better option that doesn''t put us in danger of a counter and we dont use a forward pass, that frustrates me somewhat.
17. Really grinds my gears! Surely it''s better to keep possession of the football let the team get their shape back and build again rather than just hoof it in the box and risk being hit on the counter attack or is that just too simple a tactic for people to understand?
18. Personally, if Oliveira and Watkins do leave (although I don''t really class Watkins as a striker) I would love for us to give Idah, Fonkeu, Abrahams, Srbeny & Morris plenty of game time during pre-season and hopefully give them confidence going into next season. Young hungry talent wanting to show they make could be exactly what we need to succeed next season. I would imagine a couple of them may go out on loan though and I wonder if we need an experienced head in there as well to help the young lads through. Problem is if we start the season with inexperienced strikers and it doesn''t quite work out we in first few games, the window will be closed and we cant rectify it.
19. Could we already have the answer to our striker problems at the club!?
20. As well as he done here and I thank him for three great years, he seems to have fallen short at every other club he has managed since which I am pleased about. He left us when he had a good thing so sod him, can''t wait to beat them next season.
21. Spurs v West Brom, away win please. For Norwich, Maddison to tear his Hamstring and be out until the transfer window shuts so we dont sell him (I can hope) On a serious note I shall go for a 1-0 away win to end the season off.
22. Very slow and board at work today so here''s a question for you. Who would be in your favorite Norwich XI if you had to pick from players you have seen play live? For me I would go for. Gunn Nedergaard, Dublin, Fleming, Drury Eadie, Holt, Safri, Huckerby Hoolahan Holt Subs: Ruddy, Howson, Bellamy, Roberts, Mackay, Redmond, Edworthy. Maybe not the best players I could have picked but all personal favorites of mine that I have enjoyed seeing pull on the yellow and green over the years.
23. I stopped buying home ones I think after our first season back in the prem so something like 05/06. I then continued to buy away ones until about two seasons ago but have now stopped all together. I did however for the first time in that many years buy a home one on Saturday just to see all the bits about Wes.
24. Haha that did make me chuckle Kathy! They will probably beat England mind knowing our form at tournaments!
