In an alternate universe maybe. reality is Webber still hanging around, the Americans getting bored with delias games and another cheap crap managerial appointment

Three more years, three bloody years.

It’s an absolute joke. I can see MA going the same way the Turners did. -
I think that’s exactly where we’re which is why nothing will change this time until there is “real” change. They’ve run out of lives and another new head coach won’t save them.

What would be good is for everybody to turn up but stay outside the ground. -

I’d be surprised if there was 20k in there today. Ridiculous amount of empty seats

No chance. I expect the news of his departure to break by the end of the day. -

This. 100%. We need to buy ourselves time and there needs to be a focus on sorting out the deeper lying problems. Steadying the ship on the field on a temporary basis would allow that. -
Out of likes but spot on

I think you all need to stop worrying about Wagner. He was already gone before today. The only reason they’ve left him in charge to is to save themselves from taking any flack. He’ll be gone this week regardless. Even if we won this 4-3, he’s already gone. Decisions like that aren’t affected by one freak result

This highlights what I keep banging on about. The bigger problem is at the levels above the head coach. The ownership and the SD role. Between them are making a hash of almost every on field related decision and have been for some time. Until they go, it matters not one bit who replaces Wagner, just as it mattered not one bit who replaced Farke and Smith. The stars aligned with the appointment of Farke. In hindsight I suspect that might have been more through luck than judgement.

Match Day Has Arrived

It’s also bigger than Webber though. This ridiculous limbo land that the club has been put into at ownership and boardroom level is the most damaging part of what is going on right now. I agree Webber is not a huge concern as he’s on his way. The only thing there is, he should be gone already. Wagner isn’t a big deal as he’s a dead man walking so our only real concern should be, what is ACTUALLY going on regarding the owning/running of this club? -

Well, Wagner is just the fall guy imo. Sack him -and there’s not much of a reason not to -but nothing much will change. I’d like to think Webber comes under pressure to leave with immediate effect, and I’d also like to think Delia and Michael would be sent some kind of message that a 3 year handover or whatever it is, is not acceptable and that things need to be sped up. The players? Who knows? Are they good enough? Is it their fault if they’re not? Aiming at Wagner is just letting the rest off the hook, but unfortunately it’ll be him that receives it, such is the shortsightedness of the average football fan. -

I just hope that when things turn toxic that the fans aim their unrest at the right people. -
Real football and real competition, lower league football is surprisingly enjoyable.

Gibson out until Christmas

You could be right but the defence hasn’t covered itself in glory either what with the sheer amount of individual errors -
Wouldn't it be refreshing if.........

Ideal situation, we win, and the Webbers, delia and Michael announce they’re standing down with immediate effect.
