  1. People keep saying Big Sam, but he wouldn''t fit the ''Norwich way'', the whole ''family club vibe'' which we keep pedalling. But that ethos starts and stops with those in charge
  2. The lad scores. Other posters say we can''t play 4-4-2 because the absence of Howson. Well surely 4 2 3 1 isn''t working so why not give it a go regardless of Howson being fit. We''re still top 6 but slipping badly. The time to try these things is now. Lafferty and Jerome up top banging long balls into them is surely a better option than this narrow attacking front we''re failing with now. But I don''t see any change/progression in tactics unless we change manager who is not learning lessons and hasn''t since relegation from the Prem.
  3. I''d jump at Warburton. Surely we can afford to get him in.
  4. Rogue Baboon, I know what you mean, I feel we''d all probably have a little more investment if we had some Norwich players in there. But of course that''s unlikely to happen any time soon. I do agree that Southgate has them playing more entertaining in these last few games but the sooner we accept, as a nation, we''re not some footballing giant in the int. scene the sooner our media will stop chastising whoever''s in charge. It''s almost like it''s an albatross to wear the jersey given the amount of flack everyone gets if we do "badly". But then you could argue it comes down to other factors; lack of grassroots level investment, pooled club mentality etc. Though I can''t be bothered to go into the philosophy of it all as others on this forum are better at explaining it than me.
  5. Good ''ol England, right outta the Alex Neil stratagem folder. But I know what we''re doing, we''re just fooling everyone rope-a-dope style. But seriously, GS for England manager? Thoughts??
  6. Did well at the Euros, we signed him, started off well and looked confident. Then the whole defence and him lost form. I wouldn''t say he''s worse than Ruddy, but Ruddy will now get his chance again. Hopefully step up. Unless Alex Neil does something madcap and put in Remi Mathews out of pure spite but I can''t see that happening.
  7. In some form Hughton and Norwich were high-scoring a few weeks ago. Norwich even helped contribute to that elusive clean sheet all Championship sides long for. That can''t be overlooked.
  8. Take a look at my avatar photo - such happier times, that debut header...
  9. With or without RVW? Bear in mind RVW, for me, is a deal-breaker.
  10. I don''t even know what a double pivot is - I just like jumping on bandwagons. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  11. Can''t see it happening. We''re still in play-offs and unless something madcap occurs he''ll be here for a while yet.
  12. TIL the 90''s called, it wants its quips back
  13. Not everything''s about you Gritty. Besides, I thought you''d have access to ''All Areas'' and could sit where you desired including the executive suite? Surely the field of vision from such lofty heights would help you to identify targets easier and the warmth from the central heating (at this time of year especially) would aid in keeping your digits pliable to maintain maximum velocity on your Bic and Moleskin?
  14. Surely it''s better some fans than none. And if you''re so concerned with the atmosphere why don''t you generate some yourself instead of sitting on your ar5e moaning about it on a football forum. Whenever I go and wherever I sit, drunk or sober, I''ll make a racket.
  15. Being perfectly honest, if the club turned round and stated it''s intentions of residing in the Champ to let AN develop a youth team in order to provide a better infrastructure in order to go up with sustainability its approach with Hodgson in some form of DOF I''d be less inclined to moan about the state of the half time pints.
