1. quote user="wcorkcanary"]Heres another one....''not now, not never'' Can anyone remember how this phrase is connected to Andy.[/quote       Did he once say it when asked the question; "Would you ever pay £3 for a rubbish beer in the River End?"
2. quote user="TCCANARY"]
Anyone got any idea when it''s going to happen?
Why does it need to change?     [/quote     I thought it needed a tide button

4. Anyone got any idea when it''s going to happen?
5. Is it; A/  AN made love to his wife B/ He''s a Binner troll You decide
6. I thought you were about to reveal something deep and personal , when I read the title, LDC
7. That''s a decent shout. Is that 5 left footers there, Hampstead?
8. Panic ye not Tim There is plenty of time still ,and there hasn''t been much of note happening yet (which would set off a chain reaction normally)   We do have a capable squad, but they are not showing it to their fullest potential, so are wholesale changes required, or tweaking of what we have? I guess the answer to that question, is that as we do not know enough about Alex Neil, to quantify that yet, despite the poor showing by the players on Saturday
9. quote user="whoareyou?"]The biggest mistake was made last summer when we appointed a manager with zero experience of managing well-paid professional players with big egos when we could have appointed someone with Champions League credentials and a proven winner. The club has been very poorly managed for much of Delia''s reign sadly. quote)   Who had you in mind? I seriously hope it wasn''t Lennon you were describing there
10. All that, and then you finish off by saying you can''t prove any of it...............................
11. Bolton''s stand out player, when they were here, for me, and  I would love to have him here (here as in Carrow Road, not my front room using my laptop) I would use him in a No 10 role, taking over from Wes
12.
I bet there''s going to be some weird suggestions for the team against Birmingham.
I''m sure there will be, but not until Monday
13. I''m on the look out for a thread saying "If I''d bought a Lottery ticket on Saturday, I would have picked 4, 8, 19, 35, 44 and 49"
14. With respect Tom, please put your thoughts on here before the game, and then you wouldn''t look sanctimonious. Apart from playing 12, Whittaker has played in midfield, and the talk before the game, amongst us ''non scouts'' was that, considering the options available to AN, that it was probably the best we could offer. Also, why did you think that Miguel was a better option than Bassong, if you didn''t want to select Cuellar?
15. To be fair to Beesotted, he was on here before the game. Also I do not believe that the fans need to be anymore competitive than having banter. I have grown up experiencing the 70''s and 80''s football culture, as well as being heavily involved with Rugby, with all it''s supporters values etc. My issue with Beesotted was that he was trying to tell us where we are going wrong, through red and white tinted glasses, but with respect, hadn''t seen his Club experience the Prem League etc etc, so his view was slightly old school/romantic. I didn''t take it as patronising, but just not armed with all the information.
16. Congratulations FTW (oh yes, and on the engagement as well!) I hope the match separation will not be permanent? Where will you decide to sit together at future games?
17. I''m afraid Brentford haven''t been ''exposed'' to  the Premier League yet, with all the money etc so to be honest Beesotted,, you are not really in a position to comment  on the fundamentals of what to charge/sustainability etc There is a lovely romantic view, from yourself , of how to run a football club  (business) but your CEO might offer you a differing view, if you were ever to get promoted! It all sounds so simplistic, and would seem quite feasible, but with how Brentford are at this moment, and taking into account your past (i.e. not been in the Premier League) your views could appear to be naïve. Your point about terracing and your mates is fantastic for someone like my mate, his 17 yr old son (who both went to Griffin Park), and myself, as we had a great conversation on the way to yesterdays game, about the ''old days'' of terraces etc, and that the 17 yr olds of today, who support top level teams, do not have any stories to tell from their match day experience, like his Dad and myself could tell him. If Brentford get promoted, your experiences and your opinions, WILL change, I guarantee it. There is a part of me that is secretly loving this drop down out of the Prem, because I am old school, and I find the money obscene. This is ''proper'' football in my eyes, and I suspect you are similar to me, and you really hope you stay here, and keep upsetting the bigger boys. At some stage that will change, for better or for worse.
18. I take it that, as you have taken 17 months to put up your 2nd post, and it''s contents are referring to years of problems, that you have been in communication with Delia/McNally etc in between posts?
