  1. Why do we have no Chicken Pies or Curry pies? I am all for meat, but we don''t even have a nice vegetable pie... Needless to say if the menu doesn''t get a refresh for the new season, I will be eating at home or in the city before venturing to Carrow Road. Rant/Whinge over...
  2. Does anyone actually enjoy eating the pies at Carrow Road? I ask, as obviously we have been voted a bad away day experience and it got me thinking... does anyone actually deem it tasty? or worth the three odd quid? I''ve recently been advised to not eat beef/steak so got in touch with Norwich City about their pie choices for next year, and after initially acknowledging my email - they have done very little since. Since stopping the beef, I had to try the cheese and onion pie - and I can without any doubt say it was the worst thing I''ve ever eaten. Tasteless cheese and potato mush in a dry pastry casing - and this was before kick-off it''s not even like it had sat there until half time.
  3. Based purely on cost of entry, basicness and price of food and very limited to anywhere you can actually go in the city as an away fan - I think we are lucky to be up as high as we are. Some of the prices we have charged away fans this year have been ridiculous and the pies are anything but enjoyable.
  4. Weimann has achieved what to be worth such a claim? I think he averages 5 goals a premier league season when playing regularly.... He''s not a bad player - but Martin would give you so much more. Weimann is like a wes replacement where as Martin would be a leader and a force.
  5. If Weimann and Bent are apparently joining Derby can we put in a cheeky bid for Chris Martin? Yes he''s an ex player but he has morphed in to a Grant Holt type since leaving Norwich and Derby''s season died the moment he got injured. I think he''d be a decent prospect for a team of Norwich''s size. We''re newly promoted, we aren''t going to be pulling in the international signings like last time in the PL. I''d give Martin a go...
  6. This forum is the ultimate player bashing site - I wonder if the first team players ever come on here to see who is being bashed today. Kyle Lafferty was a good player when we signed him and is a good player still today. Who cares if he''s a little hot-headed? and I don''t care what he does in his personal life! If he had been played as a striker - Norwich fans would of cheered him every game. He was played out of position, was reckless with cards - probably because he didn''t want to play left wing... I still rate him and think he''d do a job in the PL. I actually believe he''d be fairly decent up top on his own in the Premier League.
  7. There is more to life than playing for bigger and more successful clubs. Some players/people have families and locations to think of when changing clubs. I reckon John Ruddy will be here for the rest of his career. John Ruddy is Norfolk!
  8. I thought Martin was a lot better in the second leg of the Semi-final. Do people genuinely think Alex Neil is going to change his back four now? For the final? Are you mad?!! He only ever changes it when there is an injury...
  9. McGeehan hasn''t played for us all season, why would he start in the most important game of the season?
  10. This time next Tuesday... I will either be looking forward to watching Norwich''s return to the Premier League or getting excited about coming up against Ipswich Town (and MK Dons) in some exciting Derbies next season. What ever the result at Wembley - it''s going to be a great day out and under Alex Neil''s leadership I believe next season, whichever league we are in, will be exciting and definitely worth watching. On the Ball City!
  11. I think next season I am going to apply to become a steward at Carrow Road. You get free entry to every home game, a nicely brightly coloured jacket and get to sit and watch your team. It''s clear from Saturday''s match that that is all Stewards do, because they quite clearly had no idea what to do when it came to the pitch invasion. We had a bearded old steward in the N&P who took his coat off, like a stripper, to the family crowd... He, like all the fluorescent people, just stood there, pitch side and let the crowd do what they wanted. Yeah it was a good laugh and everyone appeared to have a good time and fun. But you''ve only got to look at recent pitch invasions to see NCFC were not prepared and our stewards are quite clearly too old and slow.
  12. For Ipswich fans - good luck finding anywhere (I think Complete Angler on the river, near the station is one of the only pubs that''ll let you in). For Norwich fans - Anywhere down Thorpe Road is good for atmosphere and a good pint... The Coach and Horses and The Fat Cat Canary are too decent pubs that way.
  13. £500 quid is a huge amount of money for a season ticket - some people have to save up for that - not everyone has £25 to just throw around willy-nilly. Yes, it''s a big game, but it''s not worth going worth personal financial issues. I''m going to the game, but if it had been £30+ I wouldn''t have. It''s on the telly! I could drink and eat the finest food for that, rather than sit on a tacky plastic seat. I''m starting to question why I bothered paying £25 now...
  14. Congratulations! That probably worked out cheaper for you too. Enjoy the game!
  15. When you consider NCFC fans will have had to put effort in to purchasing a ticket for this game, an extra twenty odd quid really isn''t that much of a incentive to part with a ticket for one of the most important derby games in NCFC and ITFC history. This match, plus the final at Wembley is worth over £100 million to the victor!
  16. I am not a Redmond fan - I verbally show as much when at the football. But even I was surprised to read he has contributed 12 assists this season... I thought it was nearer 4 before ''googling'' his stats. His return, judging by the stats has actually been quite good. Plus he''s home-grown. If we could keep him for another season, we should, because of fairplay rules be able to demand £20 million for him. I know this sounds crazy, and I wouldn''t pay a quarter of that for him if I was a club but... he''s English, he''s home grown, he''s young and he''ll fill the quota needed shortly in the Premier League.
  17. Do you know how season I have read on this board that people think Hoolahan has had it, or has peaked? Far too many! And everytime he comes back and proves you all wrong. He''s not an impact sub player. He''s a first 60 minutes sort of player who gives his all and is by far our best creative attacking threat. Yes Brad has scored a shed load of goals but the others aren''t given enough... and don''t get me started on Redmond - if he wasn''t British we wouldn''t have paid close to what we did and he would be long gone by now.
  18. I don''t know if you''ve noticed much but Alex Neil doesn''t tend to change his starting eleven that much - I don''t know Alex Neil, and I have no managerial or coaching experience, but I can say I would bet my house on John Ruddy being in goal on Saturday.
  19. It''s easy to blame it on the Middlesbrough game but we lost far to many game earlier on the season to teams that offered nothing. Seriously how did we lose at home to Wigan??? Bournemouth fully deserve their promotion to the PL, they have played attacking attractive CONSISTENT football all season, we got to #1 in the league and took our foot off the pedal. I don''t think we''ll get promoted via the playoffs, my gut isn''t confident. Ipswich are long overdue a victory against us, We''ve already lost twice to dirty cheating Middlesbrough and Derby are a team of talented players who I thought pre-season would be challenging for the title - with Chris Martin back - I fear them. I realise this is negative and most will slate my feeling and opinion - but we''ll see come May 25th.
  20. You could also say that because the team didn''t try against Wigan, Huddersfield and Middlesbrough, we the fans, now have to pay more? Where as if they''d have won we would all be £35 up. And you''re clearly missing the point regarding the season ticket debate. To add to the debate > I have renewed for next season. So this season I am a season ticket holder and that rolls on to next year, yet McNally can some how sell my seat in between?
  21. I don''t get how you can compare Apple giving away iphones to a season ticket holder getting there full entitlement? The clue is in the name - Season Ticket, A ticket for the Season. The playoffs are still in this season.
  22. I am more intrigued to know whether David McNally and NCFC will honour the season of Season Ticket when or if it comes to us being in the playoffs - I am obviously referring to the home leg. A season is surely all the home games from the beginning of 2014 to the final matches of the same season in 2015. We could be about to see how greedy and disconnected this so called ''our club'' is from us, the supporters.
  23. Zipper are you drunk? Most undeserving nomination is history!
  24. Ha ha ha ha ha... I love that a guy on a poxy tiny little message board like this genuinely think he has some sort of understanding/connection with Arsene Wenger... Too funny... No one on here knows its all guess work.
  25. Wenger wanted him to get experience at Championship - the rest was very much down to the player - it''s up to him where ultimately he lives. He''s chosen to play regular first team football at a good level - he''s made the right call.
