Dubai Mark 0 Posted January 12, 2014 He would probably be one of those from the backroom staff who would caretake for a week or if necessary, but that isnt going to happen and despite his obvious value to our club nor is him becoming Manager going to happen.As for Phelan, even acknowledging his achievements with Fergie at Manure, having now seen him as a pundit, I really cant see him as Manager of our club as he just doesnt come over as a "Manager", more like a member of the backroom team, shame really. Both would be a high risk appointment. Phelan was a good coach, but as we have found out before that doesn''t mean he would make the move up.
