Agree with the posters above, Ashton and McKenzie has to be our first choice partnership. Don''t rate Svensson at all personally. Apart from those tow headers vs Bolton, I don''t think I''ve ever seen him head the ball.

Too little, too late. And with Leon on fire and forming a great partnership with Deano, i can''t see him starting unless one of them gets injured. I reckon he''ll go in the summer.

What short memories people have - Sven was hitting top form and was showing Leon up for a very poor player in comparison before he got injured and now he isnt worthyof lacing Leons boots???

Having Sven available will boost the side, his touch and retention of the ball is twice Leons, he is technically superior and has been more clinical this season.  I agree he should not automatically start but why deride him?    Playing ashton and Sven, two players who can hold a ball upand relieve the defence, may be better for the side.

As I have always said if we could have svens ability with Leons mobility we would have a hell of a striker...

I saw Mr. Svensson in Sainsbury''s the other day, buying some fish. Poor bugger didn;t seem to be having much luck though as the bloke behind the counter was speaking in a nice broad norfolk. Svenny has difficulty talking to Roy Waller, poor lad. Anywho, can''t wait to see him get his chance before the end of the season because, like Zippy said, he was starting to really get going before the injury and show McKenzie the way. Hopefully Bentley and Helveg will be able to join him in the team, then I think we might just have a chance.

Svensson''s not back yet , he''s in non-contact training, which means that it''ll surely be another month at the very least before he''s back up to match fitness.
We''ll probably be down by then - though he might be able to get in a game or two to put himself in the shop window I suppose...
