Shack Attack 0 Posted January 21, 2012 A match which was televised and ended 0-0. Hardly going to be on first is it?
Branston Pickle 4,145 Posted January 21, 2012 Would have been much earlier in the running order had we sneaked the win! Seems that there were some pretty good games today - a few surprises, too.
Lincs CR 0 Posted January 21, 2012 Not surprised we''re on last to be honest, already been televised, 0-0 scoreline, and some games were absolute belters in the league today!
Bill 1,788 Posted January 21, 2012 It weren''t such a bad game here either
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted January 21, 2012 Rightfully so. A decent game but no goals & not a huge amount of goal-mouth action.
birchfest 401 Posted January 21, 2012 What the fuck. did Hansen even watch the game... Chelsea dominated and Norwich second best through out? joke of a pundit, cant wait for us to stay up and prove these smug gits wrong

Harry 0 Posted January 21, 2012 Chelsea were comfortable right through the game were they?I suggest you actually watch games before spouting shit like that you arrogant tosser.
chicken 0 Posted January 22, 2012 Over the top reaction peeps.Watched the game from home with an unwell wife. At times Chelsea were laying siege to our penalty area but we defended well.In clear cut chances we probably just about edged them. However if you end a game stating that the keeper and centre backs had good games its normally because they had a lot to do. Its fair to say if Whitbread and Ayala hadnt played as well as they did I think Ruddy would have been tested more. However I think that was partly how we set up. They have a lot of pace in that team and giving them space to run into or at was going to create problems. Jamie Rednap on sky got it spot on.It wasnt one way traffic for sure but Lambert new at times we would have to work on stopping them and pick our moments more carefully. Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted January 22, 2012 I''m sure for the neutral it was a goddamn boring game.

Wings of a Sparrow 1,708 Posted January 22, 2012 It''s all very well wearing yellow specs but I don''t think any of the pundits hate us or want us to go down and Chelsea with some better finishing should have put the game out of sight.Having said that we defended well and could have had a couple ourselves.Happy with a draw against a very good side. Branston Pickle 4,145 Posted January 22, 2012 Most of the reports say that we deserved the draw, which is probably right. An even first half, they stepped things up and we had to do some rearguard defending but their clear chances were kept to a minimum; not bad for a team whose squad cost about a fifth of the price of one misfiring chelsea player. Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted January 22, 2012 According to the MOTD twitter feed at half-time, the panel were watching the game & felt Chelsea were playing us off the park.I don''t dispute Chelsea had the majority of possession & territory but they made out that it was an onslaught and we were very fortunate to get the point. Many neutrals I''ve spoken to felt we defended with great discipline & organisation, nullifying a Chelsea side short of cutting edge.
lake district canary 0 Posted January 22, 2012 Its all about opinions, unfortunately the match of the day pundits rarely give a balanced view. If chelski had in form strikersIf Norwich hadn''t defended so wellIf Ruddy hadn''t been on formIf they had a manager who had them playing as a unit........they would have won.BUT.................No....................What do we get? "Chelsea should have won by a mile"Unbalanced and innacurate they even look like they''ve had afew too many and are struggling to stay awake It''s no wonder they are getting on people''s nerves! Bill 1,788 Posted January 22, 2012 I think there is this misunderstanding that these pudits sit glued to games taking notes, comparing to previous games etcLineker gave a truth to the reality last week when he struggled to even introduce our game at West Brom as his auto cue had gone down Hansen doesn''t have the use of an autocue so relies on his notes, having to glance down at them every few seconds.Poor old Shearer (not being the sharpest knives in the box) relies on reading up his piece before each game highlights and hoping that his memory doesn''t let him down - which sadly it often does.Placing any value on their thoughts is as much use at relying on the person who reads out the shipping forecast to tell you how to sail. chicken 0 Posted January 22, 2012 Yup. He might sound daft but he isnt when it comes to footie. As he pointed out you would expect Chelsea to come and have a real go at Norwich. You expect them to have more of the ball.So what it then comes down to is what they do with the ball and how much we make of what we get.I think in terms of clean chances we were probably equal to them if not better. For me Chelsea really struggled to move the ball quickly enough to pull us appart. Part of that was down to us defending deep but I also think they were short of ideas.
