For anyone who knew him, I have sad news to report the passing of senior club steward Pat Nelson. Pat lost his short battle with cancer over the weekend.

Pat had served the club for over 40 years and will be missed by all that knew him.

Before he passed, Pat was aware that Holty had done the business for City.

RIP Pat.

I knew him since I was a little girl and he always greeted me with a peck on the cheek than and now. Lovely man. Will be missed sorely.

I recognised the name but couldn''t remember who he was.  Have since seen the article on the pinkun and the NCFC website, and I know exactly who he is.

Didn''t even realise he was ill, very sad though.
