I said Adomah in Cureton out, we shall see...[/quote]Well, Robinho is on 160,000/week and Santos can''t come up with that - so if we put in a bid and the NotW has made his agent skittish that probably means they won''t take a chance with us and we will soak them for damages to fund our promotion push from the championship next season and also cut a deal for the NotW to sponsor us in the prem for 5 years when we get promoted again next year...........Ah the tabloid world of football............what would we do without it.One love.OTBC
canarycop 212 Posted January 26, 2010 I''ll throw this one in.How about Neil Mellor from Preston.Seems to have fallen down their pecking order now they have signed Wellbeck from Man Utd.Only 27 and may still have the hunger to do well.

norfolkchance1 0 Posted January 26, 2010 Theres nothing wrong with the odd loan player such as Huckerby when he came to boost us in our promotion season, or Forster who has added to our team. The problem has been when loan players have just been dragged in en masse.I can''t think of any sensible suggestions who I''d want to sign on loan or permanently that would add to what we have already. Jacko 0 Posted January 26, 2010 Robinho would never come to us. He wouldnt like Hoolahan keeping him on the bench......

Robornio 112 Posted January 26, 2010 Mellor is rubbish! He''s been kept out the side by Chris Brown, which says it all!! He was rubbish on-loan at West Ham when they were in the Championship (yes, he even played against us then - which no-one will remember, showing how effective he must have been), he scored one fluke goal against Arsenal (which will be the only highlight of his career) and has been ridiculed by Preston fans for being lazy, overweight and has a distinct inability to aim at the goal (hmm, doesn''t exactly fit in to our club ethos anymore). No thanks, I''d rather save our money for a player on the up.
Twitchy 0 Posted January 27, 2010 Any news after the game on a new addition, or is it utter tosh or an "iron in the fire"?

The Great Wall Of Tettey 0 Posted January 27, 2010 very much doubt it to be adomah, blackpool said she wouldnt be held to ransom from them for wanting a stupid fee for them ! cant see us paying for a player were not really going to play ! can see it being a keeper, maybe some1 for the backline. T1mb3rs 0 Posted January 27, 2010 Hey guys, new to the forum and have been reading some of these posts and been having a little chuckle to myself. Just found out who the person is that we will be signing! He played for Lambert at Wycombe and is the brother of a once legend at Carrow road...His brother was joint top goalscorer in the Premier league in the 97-98 season with Dion Dublin and Michael Owen.Thought I would give you hints rather than saying straight away who the player is... Also don''t know how reliable the source is however i swear i had heard we were interested in this player not so long ago... One you wouldnt expect but one i actually think could potentially be a good purchase!Anyway the link of where i found this :http://www.football-rumours.co.uk/Obviously dont take this as a reputeable source... but would seem reasonable...Think he could be good personally! T1mb3rs 0 Posted January 27, 2010 Haha, agree there...Is he any good on 2010?I think its hilarious...recently we have been buying players i used to always sign...Mcnamee a few years ago used to be first purchase (when he was like 18 haha), Whitbread used to be poached on a free and Sutton could be snapped up for peanuts from st.mirren...and sold a season or two later for a few mill. You think it could be likely we get sutton? Funny how my old teacher used to say he taught chris sutton at school...and was friends of their family... he always told me john his younger brother was the better footballer...the teacher was ancient so im assuming he had seen them play!
