Barbie 10,000 Posted January 21, 2010 Skysports.com understands Premier League trio Tottenham, Arsenal and Stoke are tracking Newcastle keeper Fraser Forster.http://www.skysports.com/football/transfer_clockwatch/0,23710,14896,00.html (10:08 update)
B-ru 0 Posted January 21, 2010 no worries, this has all happened before... he will be here until the end of the season at least!
DOGGER 0 Posted January 21, 2010 Wonder if Lambert will try and sign him if we go up?
Lambert is King 0 Posted January 21, 2010 If true good news is that Spurs and Arsenel would probably want him to stay here. Stoke according to Sky are now back in negotiations with David James.
pete_norw 0 Posted January 21, 2010
Skysports.com understands Premier League trio Tottenham, Arsenal and Stoke are tracking Newcastle keeper Fraser Forster.http://www.skysports.com/football/transfer_clockwatch/0,23710,14896,00.html (10:08 update)
As other''s have said No panic as we will be keeping him till the end of season, but have to be honest here and wish our board say to Lambert "If you want him buy him", If we go up we will need a keeper his name should be on the No1 shirt next season, and not a bench warmer, If our league 1 Rivals think that this speculation will unsettle him, not a chance, it will only make him stronger, and give more clubs something to think about, But how I wish we would buy him
king canary 8,750 Posted January 21, 2010 If we don''t sign him it will not be a disaster for us though as I believe Rudd is quality.
First Wizard 0 Posted January 21, 2010 Panic not, it can''t happen!
canaryjock 0 Posted January 21, 2010 I''m sure I read on here before that his ''contract'' with us is to the end of the season therefore I''m not sure if that can be broken.
Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted January 21, 2010 Some of the so-called football experts on here don''t rate him - funny that!

Ivana_rubyatitz 6 Posted January 21, 2010 Can''t see him going anywhere this window, but I suspect that we may find ourselves priced out of being able to buy him next season even if we do go up with the sort of interest he is rumoured to be attracting

Can''t remember the original Pink ''Un article now though...
king canary 8,750 Posted January 21, 2010 Forster has to stay with us until the end of the season unless we agree to end his loan early which would take serious compo i would guess. However teams can happily buy him this window with the move actually happening on the summer.
Legend Iwan 30 Posted January 21, 2010 It isn''t surprising that Fraser is recieving the plaudits and resulting in rumors like these. If he can sort his kicking out he really will become a superb keeper, but if he goes to one of these clubs will he be strating or sitting on the bench? Chelmsford Canary 0 Posted January 21, 2010 Although I think he is great keeper, his kicking lets him down as a Premier League keeper in my opinion.

a1canary 0 Posted January 21, 2010 Are we certain that we contractually have him for the season? After having seen that binners can recall and sell Lisbie if someone comes in for him, can''t the same happen with FF?I suppose only the club can tell us what the contract says. Snoots 0 Posted January 21, 2010 Lambert''s statement that Forster is on loan to us for the season suggests, hopefully, there is no option clause for Newcastle. However, it is surprising that neither Newcastle or Norwich have quashed these rumours. I hope they don''t unsettle Forster because he proved on Saturday how vital it is to have a good, solid goalkeeper between the sticks,
San Miguel 0 Posted January 21, 2010 Fraser is one the most consistent shot stoppers i''ve ever seen - a fantastic young goal keeper and i''m not suprised he is being linked with a move to the Premier Leaguehis kicking lets him down but that''s just something to work on i wouldn''t imagine a Premier League club would take a risk on signing him to play first team football between now and end of the season. If the loan agreement says he will remain at City then obviously he cannot leave now anyway, unless both club''s agreed to break the contract. doubt we will buy him next yr - Rudd and Steer are top quality and he will simply cost too much
