Iwan is God

We are in the bottom 3! (CORRECTION: bottom 4)

Recommended Posts

Earnie has just put Forest 2 nil up away at Charlton. As it stands with us losing we are in the relegation zone & to be honest I don''t think we''ll get out of it for the rest of the season... Earnie kept us up in his time here, now he might just do it for Forest!!

They would have to score 8 if we don''t concede anymore. It''s not going to happen today but it''s only a matter of time.

TBH at this stage I won''t lose too much sleep over where we are come 5pm today (particularly after a game we were unlikely to win) - it is where we are after the 46th game that is important.

The next 3 (league) games will give us a much better idea as to our fate [Barnsley, Southampton and Doncaster incase anyone didn''t know] - win all and we will pull away, lose them and we are further in the crapper.

Not unless they win 8-0

Looks like it is only going to be goal difference and the fact that the Doncaster game was called off that will keep us out of the bottom 3 tonight.

I do not think even in the days of both Hamilton and Grant that we ever found ourselves in the bottom 3 come the back end of January or the start of Feb.

The next 3 games are vital and could well decide whether we are going to be relegated this year or if we may do just enough to keep our heads above water.

I would rather be bottom at the end of October than in the bottom 3 come the end of Jan or the start of Feb (with some very difficult looking fixtures remaining and fewer games remaining until the end of the season)... see where I am coming from Mr C???

If we find ourselves in the bottom 3 after the next 3 games then I can assure you that we will need a miracle to find ourselves out of the bottom 3 come May.

We should be content with a play-off challenge every single season!Deliar has seriously lowered the supporters standards, no-one is prepared to blame her publicly- instead choosing to blame Roeder (IMO he''s awful as well). Is it any coincidence our slump since the end of the 90''s has happened under delia? We''ve got progressively worse

Of course we shouldn''t be content with it CT... but if you offered 21st place and staying up by goal difference to every City fan right now then I am pretty sure that the vast majority would take it.

Anything less than 6 points from the next 3 games and really fear for the future of our club...

Oh well at least if we are relegated change will hopefully finally happen.

What should we be content with?
[/quote]

CT is right. Our club shouldn''t be in this position. We should be dissapointed with a bottom half finish as we expect to challenge for the playoff places rather than rejoicing at avoiding relegation by a decent way.

We definately need wins to guarantee staying up.  How sad is it that we would be happy to just stay up lol.

Oh well, the club sadly is in freefall, and I do fear it''s too late to stop the rot [:(]

I think that this thread shows that Smudger is just a much a City fan as everyone that doubts it. Although we don''t always agree with each others views, we all understand how much  $h!t£ we''re in, and are praying that we don''t go down. We all deserve better than than the shower that we''re watching at the minute. Something''s gotta give.
