No I don''t just disappear because things don''t turn out as I was told, I can only at the moment assume that for one reason or another todays signings were not announced because there is an extra signing that was not expected (Shola) and its a all in one day conference as in 3 on Friday. Or there was a delay in one of todays and they have held back.

It was very busy today with lots of strangers all around the place, so I will stand by all that I have said and all the signings I said.

I will say sorry to Kevin and send him a bunch of roses if I am proved wrong, but I wont be

Twenty four hours is a long time in politics and possibly a long time in football, particularly in the transfer season.  On Wednesday morning  Key Sports Management (who represent Mr Ameobi) told us that he was on holiday abroad and was due to return to this country "next week".

If it helps, which it probably doesn''t, the Daily Mail was updated to a WBA "late bid" for Mr Ameobi at 9.20 this evening on the back of Alan Oliver''s report in the Newcastle Evening Chronicle.

Alan, while not infallible as, like me, he is one of The Scum Of The Earth, is generally regarded as having a reasonable inside track at Newcastle.

The reason I came on here and started to post was because everyone was getting concerned that we were not signing anyone, I knew we were going to make signings on Monday or Tuesday at the very latest so thought I would share that with you lot.

As far as Thursdays signings went all I can say is that I strongly believe that we have an extra player and an announcement has been delayed until today, or at the worst there is a problem with one of the signings.

I never said the signings will follow sometime they will happen today I suspect or Monday at the latest, as if they don''t then they must have broken down.

Remember like I said that things change WBA thought they had Paddy McCourt in the bag, but then we come in with a bid, then out of the blue he signs a 3 year deal for Celtic. So if I had worked for WBA and said we had him and he would be signing this week would that make me a Liar? I think not as he was 90% a WBA player on Wednesday morning.

I don''t need somekind of ego boost and get nothing out of this I am just trying to tell fellow Norwich supporters what I have heard or know, if thats not what you lot want then fine I will stop posting on here, its not a problem to me.

Yes I agree, I think that this is a lot of speculation. GNG has said certain things which seem definite fact as if he has some inside knowledge, but also a lot of things that suggest he is no more than guessing. So even if he does have inside info, there''s still a certain amount of speculation going on because you inevitably start putting 2 and 2 together.
