NAME THAT TEAM - MK Dons (a) 2005

Recommended Posts

The right midfielder took me a little while to remember, but all the others came in pretty good time.

Problems with the left winger, a centre-mid, and a striker. Not too bad other than that. What a terrible team though! Finding out the strikers name made me cringe

Jesus, that was harder than it first looked... had to cheat for a few of them, I''ll admit... not necessarily cos my memory is rubbish, but for the out-of-position players and the ones who made so little impact on our club they''re hard to remember... Took ages to get the left-centre mid!

That took ages! I had to cheat for the right winger. What a shocking team. It would take a lot to beat that pile of rubbish for the worst team ever.

I struggled with the left central midfielder as well......though not hard to see why when I realised who he was and just how poor he was!

I

was at cup match at MK. The penalty that they missed in the first period of

extra time almost hit me as it flew past and over the goal.

I''ve kept this quote from Nigel Worthington as it summed up the game, well it did in his

eyes anyway.

“We

expected a tough game here and that''s exactly what we got. I thought the

teams played very well and put up a good fight. From our point of view our

attitude was first class. We passed the ball well, created chances and

hopefully, we can carry that on in the league"
