We want him for around 280-300k and hibs want 400kIf true, it would be another case of not willing to pay the right price and losing out again, but then again could just be another rumour. geo374 0 Posted June 25, 2008 He would be a great signing and has scored quite a few goals for Hibs and was (and I think still is) captain of the team. He will also give a great deal of presence to the back line as he is a 6ft 7in "man-mountain". Has not scored this season (I think) but this is due to the fact that he is now marked by at least 2 players when he comes up for corners etc, which of course should open up opportunities for other players! For a big bloke he is surprisingly quick and has a brilliant footballing brain.He also said that from what he''s seen of Alan Gow that he''s a decent player who''d get into any other side in the SPL, other than Rangers and Celtic, with ease and he''d have him at Hibs at the drop of a hat.
