Pinks 0 Posted June 17, 2008 Looking at the current squad and not including keepers, we have only three six footers in the club (Shacks, Doc and Spillane). With the players signed and those rumoured, Clingan, Bell and Hoolahoop we''re talking 5'' 9", 5'' 10" and a weeny 5'' 6" .Are we gonna have height problems next year? CiderkiddCanary 0 Posted June 17, 2008 Aston Villa are a small team (except Carew) and they did fine, so who knows? It may force Norwich to pass it along the floor.
Mello Yello 2,572 Posted June 17, 2008 Height issue?.....Bless you!
O.T.B.C 1 Posted June 17, 2008 It may force us to play on the grass, but when it comes to corners at both ends, we need some height. When Tiny was here, we looked like we could score at most corners and defend them well.
First Jedi 0 Posted June 17, 2008 Er... we''ve a player issue... we''ve hardly players. Surely that is going to effect everything; we''ve not many that are tall, we''ve not many that are small... we''ve not many right footers, we''ve not many left footers... WHY? We''ve not many AT ALL!!Honestly...!
Hog 0 Posted June 17, 2008 Don''t worry, I remember Roeder talking about how he thought strong big players were key these days, would be very surprised if at least four of his next signings were not large, (and not in a Hartson way!)

Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted June 17, 2008 Clingan isnt huge but he is fairly big and is an aggressive midfielder so i doubt we''ll be bullied as much in midfield as we did last season at times

If we get those players in it seems GR is not sticking to his gameplan.

kdncfc 0 Posted June 18, 2008 Clingon is 5''11" and looks as though he can put himself about a bit and if that fails he''s certainly ugly enough to scare the living daylights out of the opposition.
