Boyo 0 Posted March 18, 2008 I dont think this could do us any favours because I believe Scunny and ColU are already down. I think the only place in the bottm 3 we can get in is third from bottom.

Iwan is God 0 Posted March 18, 2008 For once, I''ll certainly be hoping for a Wolves win! (Whilst humming Kevin Muscat what a ......!)
canary cherub 1 Posted March 18, 2008 If Scunthorpe lose it could give Colchester a glimmer of hope, at least of avoiding the beermat award (for propping up the table). No one wants to finish bottom. Just what we need . . .

We play Hull tonight - the last scheduled League match under lights ever at Layer Road. I am hopeful we shall mark that occasion by beating Hull and, in any event, we shall come to Norwich to attack because as all know we can''t defend so try to attack is all we can do.The Hull chairman said a match against Colchester was a "three point banker". I am rather hopeful that his comments are read to the team just before kick off and that we can prove him wrong. And we shall try to give you a good game and we shall try to get three points on Saturday. We played well against Cardiff on Saturday and according to reports were unlucky not to have won. Robert N. LiM 6,299 Posted March 18, 2008 To be honest we8, if we can''t finish above Scunny, there really is no hope. I think their results are irrelevant.

I''m too old not to be philosophical and I''ve been there done this stuff so often that I can no longer get cranked up about it. As long as we give it our best and go down fighting there''ll be no complaints from me - it''s just football. I would be annoyed if we rolled over for the rest of the season but I don''t think we are going to do that.Either way I''m looking forward to the club having a decent ground next season whichever league we are in. That in itself will be a novelty experience. As to Saturday: may the best team on the day win and let''s hope it is not ruined by iffy officials. I believe we have sold all our allocation - according to one board anyway.I think you''ll stay up, personally, and that your 13 game "run" will be the bit that matters but it is a terribly tight league to call, I think, more so than last season.
