ca 1 Posted March 13, 2008 Great letter which I hope that Jamie gets to read. Yes he''s missed a few, true, but unlike a lot of footballers nowadays he''ll be hurting as much as us. He loves this club so lets keep getting behind him.

kick it off 2,062 Posted March 13, 2008 I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiments of that letter. I hope Jamie stays with us next year, and i hope he proves a lot of people wrong. He won''t be playing for many more years and I hope he makes a success at the club he loves.

Paul Lamberts Disciple 0 Posted March 13, 2008 This sort of thing makes my blood boil, the "friendly old norwich" doesnt come from Delia, it comes from the inoffensive, family day out, milk livered fans that accept any old rubbish and dont REALLY care if we are succesful or not. I simply dont care if i player dyed his hair green, can he perform consistently, can he earn his cheque and get us out of this division, if not, see you later. At the moment he is not good enough - I couldnt give a monkeys if your little boy, or your gran or your girlfriend think he''s a top bloke.Wake up, muppets. Time to go Delia 0 Posted March 14, 2008 And thats why this club will never get anywhere , jesus people want a sub standard player to stay at the club because he has a cheeky grin and dyed his hair green once .As for the Jamie loves this club , i wonder what he would do if he got an offer from another club on double his salary , he would be gone in a flash . Norwich was always the best offer he was going to get last summer and we were mug enough to bite , Jamie is 32 and been a lower league player all his career , he wasnt good enough 10 years ago and hes not good enough now , luckily i think Roeder has realised this and will get us a couple of decent strikers in the summer. aka_riise 0 Posted March 14, 2008 i can understand your point, but at the end of the day, we''re not exactly in a position where we can attract 3-5 million pound players, and have to accept that we''ve got to work with what we''ve got. Like the point about goals, obviously thats what we pay our money for. My original point was mainly aimed at players who don''t care and not scoring, the likes of Chris Martin spring to mind, who i see out drinking in the city on the regular, and to me with this routine/attitude will never make it past league 2. To me if a player is sub standard then obviously us fans will want him replaced, but in the mean time i personally enjoy watching Jamie on the pitch, purely because i can see his effort and emotions. And i''d like to point out, look at the other clubs around us top goalscorers'', and there''s none that have a striker with much of a superior goal scoring record. [/quote]Perfect..."I know he''s not good enough but I personally like to watch him on the pitch. Success can wait - for now, his smiling face and silly hair is enough for me... ok?"Accept rubbish, get rubbish, we will not go anywhere with this kind of thinking.Only ruthlessness will get us success, from the board to the manager to the players to the fans. At the moment we have 1 out of 4 right, he seems to be getting angrier by the day, I can relate.
BCanary 0 Posted March 14, 2008 I might be wrong here... maybe, just maybe... but isn''t Curo our top scorer this season?
ricardo 8,034 Posted March 14, 2008 Lovely lad, Norwich through and through. Who could ever forget the green hair. But still a Poor Man''s Earnshaw. You get what you pay for, or in Jamies case this season, slightly less than what we paid for.The records don''t lie.
