we8wba 0 Posted December 14, 2007 clearly norwich have less than 1m to spend in the jan windowif the club was offered 2m for marshall of prem side would you accept it ? if you was to be garunteed that 2m on transfers ????this could secure taylor for 1m give you least 1m spare on transfers and letting you have lewis in goal

Shifty Sid 0 Posted December 14, 2007 This is something I couldn''t understand about Peter Grant... Although Marshall is clearly a good keeper, why did we spend £1Mn on him when the likes of Neil Alexander were available for free?! I''d rather have Alexander and Taylor than Marshall and Docherty any day!

Beaker 0 Posted December 14, 2007

no, go away
Get him Beaker!
well, its yet another pointless post from w8wba. real life isnt like football manager. "oh yeah ill just sell him for £1m just like that then ill have £2m to sing someone else just like that." get real

sam 0 Posted December 14, 2007 if norwich were doing well then maybe, but when you are fighting relegation then you don''t really want to be selling your best players, lets face it marshall has been our best player this season, hence winning player of the month twice.taylor is probs off the QPR, they have offered million for him and vine, we just don''t have the moneykeep marshall and go with doherty and shackell and if it gets that bad then play dion there!!! Old Boy 0 Posted December 14, 2007 Well I''d sell Marshall, if we could get some profit out of it. And then I''d put Lewis in - he''s our future.
Show Me What You Gooot! 0 Posted December 14, 2007 I suppose I would sell him for £2m if it meant the cash became available for other transfers. After all we still have Gilks to take his place if need be.
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted December 14, 2007 I have not been hugely impressed by Marshall. If we could get 2 million for Marshall I would snap their hands off Not gonna happen at the moment though.

NegativeVibes 0 Posted December 14, 2007 Yes, sell him for £2 million and purchase Wayne Hennessey (GK) and Martin Taylor (CB) for £1 million each.
xxxx 0 Posted December 14, 2007 I would not let what transfer funds we may have or have not worry you to much , you should be far more concerned at how easily an average Burnley side turned you over at home and who you need to buy to get back on the right tracks.Thats if you have any transfer kitty of course . 0ridgemanddMMyyyy0Falseen-USTrue 0 Posted December 14, 2007 Sell him for £2 million and let Doncaster have more money to buy non footballing items. Lets not forget Doncaster promised all of the money from the sale of Earnshaw,Etuhu and Saffri would go back into the transfer kitty and now we cant afford Taylor says it all. If you haven''t forgot we are struggling to find players of a high quality at the moment, and when we do we are unable to secure them for more than 3 months. As taylor has gone our defence is weaker so we needing marshalls ability he''s too good to let go.
