Duffman 0 Posted August 13, 2007 I wasnt at the game saturday so I cant comment first hand but I was listening and the one thing that stood out to me was how physical we sounded in midfield (Brellier and Russell). I am really looking forward to saturday to see who is the first one to go into Safri with a rather ''meaty'' tackle. My advice to him would be, pull a sickie and let someone else take these two on.Anyone willing to bet which one will get sent off first this season, and how far into the season do you think it will be? Canarygeorge 0 Posted August 13, 2007 I wouldn''t mind betting that it''ll be our French Terrier, Martin. I winced on Saturday when he gave away the first free-kick after 30 seconds. At least they''re committed to the cause. We just need find some flair from somewhere, to provide the strikers with some decent ammo.
Iwan is God 0 Posted August 13, 2007 Brellier should put him into row Z after 30 seconds of kick off (Vinnie Jones on McMahon style). That''ll shake him up enough to not get into the game!
Syteanric 1 Posted August 13, 2007 i liked Chris Gorehams comment on Saturday abut how Safri will be too tired after the first match to play again for a few months! lol!jas :)
canary cherub 1 Posted August 13, 2007 Isn''t there usually an agreement between clubs that a transferred player won''t play against his old club?

......and Smith must score. 1,596 Posted August 14, 2007
i liked Chris Gorehams comment on Saturday abut how Safri will be too tired after the first match to play again for a few months! lol!jas :)
Well he''s managed two consecutive matches as he played the full 90 mins at Peterborough last night.........Probably doesn''t need to pull a sickie right now as he''s no doubt still feeling a little bit queezy after two consecutive defeats.
