Teams for today''s match at St Mary''s Stadium (3pm):



Southampton: Davis, Ostlund, Baird, Lundekvam, Bale, Surman, Wright, Pele, Skacel, Rasiak, Jones.

Subs: Bialkowski, Wright-Phillips, Idiakez, Dyer, Viafara.



Norwich City: Gallacher, Colin, Dublin, Doherty, Drury, Hughes, Robinson, Etuhu, Huckerby, Earnshaw, Thorne.

Subs: Lewis, Fleming, Croft, Safri, McVeigh.

Usual story these days. At half time:

Southampton -----------14 shots, 7 on target........plus 6 corners

City--------------------- 2 shots, 1 on target........plus 0 corners

as i said earlier this week, i was happy with grants appointment but i am not now. he is way out of his depth, his team selections are crazy and his substitutions are bloody bizarre. league one here we come.

yes but we have totally dominated over the last 10 mins so something positive has happened, but we have played OK so we need to keep improving.

not that bad according to the comentators. OK a defeat is bad but is sounds like a decent second half performance with lot''s of effort, things won''t be perfect overnight but surely this is better than some of the dross over recent weeks.
