YankeeCanary 0 Posted September 4, 2006 Strictly hypothetical for fun but, if there could be another club within Norfolk competing in the football league that could command the same fan base as Norwich City who would it be for you and why? Hunstanton Harriers, Wymondham Wanderers, Cromer Cliffhangers? Who would be your local team then, would your allegiance change?

Hucka Hucka Huckerby 0 Posted September 5, 2006 Dereham Town FC... The Canaries v The Magpies would make a good derby! I wouldn''t have far to travel to the away game, being a Dereham boy. I couldn''t see me swapping my allegiance to Dereham though... Unless it kicked off in the pub, for safety reasons!
Ramrod 258 Posted September 5, 2006 Have you considered changing your name to something like ''MacKenzie''s acrimonious departure?''
Webbs Linnets 0 Posted September 5, 2006 Kings Lynn FC.... The Canaries v The Linnets after all Lynn are the second best team in Norfolk and under Tommy Taylor''s stewardship have become title contenders in the southern premier 2 seasons on the trot. Only 5 leagues seperate the 2 if Lynn can do a Wimbledon or in more recent times a Boston then say by 2012 this could be a reality!! However don''t think The Walks would pass safty criteria. Fantasy dreamt up in the Linnet and Canary.
