huge scramble to avoid relegation and a gigantic win for Owls just now. Tuesday will not be the straightforward win some seem to think.

Calm down. We will make the play-offs. The only question is whether we finish fifth or sixth, and whether it would be better to finish fifth or sixth...

Wise words. As usual..

Looking at Southamptons leaky defence I wouldn’t mind them actually

We should be looking up at WBA ,not behind us.

Finishing 5th could be hugely significant.

Southampton now basically have half a dozen dead rubbers to play out of the type of their non event at Blackburn today.

There's a real danger that they could go into the playoffs undercooked. That would be my preferred opponent.

Excellent point. I'd also say that bringing WBA into the equation can only be good for us. Feels like us, Cov and WBA are playing for two places now, which is better odds than us and Cov playing for one place. And it's always good, as you say, to be looking up rather than down.

I quite agree with this, would add that from a Cov perspective you would think that the forthcoming cup semi final may effect their next two league games, a nice problem for them to have though admitedly.

He's playing the long game. Far better to break 1p5wich hearts on the last day of the season...

And some thought I was tempting fate...
