Another losing run.

I couldn't understand why McLean was moved to a more advanced position and Sara dropped into the role Nunez has been playing. Just odd.

And, although I'm not a Kenny hater, I think it was achingly obvious that Nunez is now a much better fit for that deep role than the others. KM a half a second or so behind where Marcelino has been and it shows.

None of this changes the overarching fact that 'Sara + Someone Else' does not a midfield make. It's a test even for me that we persist with an obviously broken system.

No but to be fair Sara ended up as practically a 10 for 25 minutes today and still rarely looked to progress the ball.

True. It was poor from him.

Did any of our Four impotent strikers have a shot on target tonight that tested their goalkeeper?

Poor, not good enough and we can thank Gunn as they had a couple of very good chances. Barnes attempt in the first minute probably should have been a goal and perhaps the games different but that's ifs and maybes.

Really disappointed that Sara played the entire game as if he was protecting himself physically whilst showing no intention of taking responsibility and actually playing a forward pass. A problem, when he's the one with the quality to make it happen.

Oh and Fassnacht doesn't scare any defenders. Too easy to defend against.

the best defender on the pitch is argos  but for the other team

Two years now, we’re not developing anything, and you lot still dream of the playoffs….. seriously deluded.   If we got promoted somehow, we’d get absolutely destroyed with this lot!

the problem is we have some good players but no one who can develop them into a unit

You can't score if you aren't provided the service though. Genuinely think our strikers are not the problem.

Didn't Barnes have a really tame effort straight at the keeper?

3 or 4 half decent players. The rest are either past it or not good enough

Yes, as good a chance as you are likely to get, and in the first minute of the game. How that would have changed everything.

He was probably too busy thinking about who he was going to pick a fight with next to concentrate on where to put the ball.
