Meh...I hope not....as I'm going Saturday....'Thumpety thumpety thump, thump, thump!'....Nah, the drum's worse than many moon's ago at an away game, me being thwacked continuously around the back of the head with an inflatable Canary by someone's ickle cherub...."Harrumph!"....

Actually I don't mind the drum as long as it's a good distance away from me....'Thumpety thumpety thump, thump, thump!'....

Sadly I can't make this one as I'll be flying over the Atlantic at kick off time, I've been to see City play at Rotherham quite a few times.  We must start as favourites, but I'm sure Wagner will make sure we don't underestimate them.

I remember a tough 2-1 win under Farke when Emi was fouled non-stop.  Also one time they provoked Grabban into punching one of their players, and with 10-men for the last 60 minutes we ended up coming away with a point.

Also years back I was taken by a local friend among the home supporters in the family enclosure and that was quite an experience, I had to keep my City allegiance very quiet.  The away fans get an entire end of the ground and the yellow colours of our fans are a really impressive sight taking up the entire end, which normally I don't get to see.

Popular away day is Rotherham? or are a few people put off by last season excited by our new form

Rotherham's New York Stadium is perfect for an away day gathering. A whole end to ourselves with great sight lines, good new facilities, relatively easy to get to by rail as long as there are no strikes and, although in the stadium the Millers fans can be "aggressive" towards away fans, in the pubs they are actually very reasonable and happy to discuss things calmly - they know they are at probably the highest level they can achieve so no chips on their shoulders (unlike what we'll find 40 miles north when we visit Farke's new outfit).

Oh and best for me, it is only a ten minute tram ride away, closer than Hillsborough.

Just thought to check as always interested in how you get away tickets. It sold out 2 weeks after going on general sale so nothing to worry about if you really wanted to go as you had ample opportunity.
