Saxon Earley our most promising LB given away would walk into this team.  Mumba not given opportunities last two seasons and probably this.

He didn't always walk into the Argyle team.

Not sure where the post has gone where someone said "Rowe is nowhere near this level" or something like that, but I think Rowe has looked lively and dangerous this evening.

I don't think Earley even walks into the Plymouth team.

We need a more robust left back than Giannoulis. I think I'd be starting McCallum out there as it stands.

Pretty sure we're not signing a defensive midfielder. Wagner doesn't seem to want to use one.

For me we need wingers. A CB and a leftback (giannoulis is bad) plus replacements for any that move.

Well i can see the same weak Midfield as last season , it would help out the midfielders going forward also the CB's ,

be interesting to see how it changes without a CDM

A lot of the breakdowns in midfield last season were from personal errors. I can only assume that we're expecting a fitter and more tactically drilled team will make less mistakes. Of course it's a very risk/reward style of playing.

I can't imagine there are too many sides in the league that wouldn't swap midfields with us if they could.

Rowe needs to play most weeks and if he's doing that with us then we're not doing much this season. Granted he's probably better than a lot of our options right now.

Said he wasn’t ready for first team football yet, that’s what I think

Yes you are correct on Paper looks strong but they do not seem to play that way getting caught etc maybe more time to gel different coach ,

i think a sitting CDM in there would clean up if there was a mistake ,

Sara and Mclean push higher ,

I suspect we'll have to hope that he is, got a feeling Wagner is planning on using him a lot.

I think it would have been Sainz and Hernandez but for the injury.

He's obviously a more Wagner winger than Tzolis. We're probably trying to shift him and Placheta.

what is the line-up for the second half?

Krul and Omo on for Gunn and Duffy at half time.

Idah for Sargent since.

Rowe is ready, he was ready for premier league action so he’s ready now.

Depends what ‘ready’ means.

He wouldn’t have seen EPL action if it wasn’t for an embarrassingly inadequate squad.

Wonder what's in Kellen Fisher's head right now.

Last year he was a non league footballer.

Now he's playing in a friendly against the Europa Conference League finalists.

Here's hoping he comes good

I think we all know the positions that need strengthening. Another striker/goalscorer and a sitting midfield player.

Obviously not, I think wingers are by far our most important position to strengthen. Followed by CB and fullback.

Couldn't disagree more.

Wide players, left back, CB, DMC for me.
