Ken Hairy 3,779 Posted July 19, 2023 Not sure where the post has gone where someone said "Rowe is nowhere near this level" or something like that, but I think Rowe has looked lively and dangerous this evening.
pete 320 Posted July 19, 2023 Not now he won't and not under Wagner
keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted July 19, 2023 Good old Ashley. Bit of fire in him even if its a friendly. Need soomeone like that in the team.
KeiranShikari 1,426 Posted July 19, 2023 I don't think Earley even walks into the Plymouth team. We need a more robust left back than Giannoulis. I think I'd be starting McCallum out there as it stands.
cambridgeshire canary 6,781 Posted July 19, 2023 Barnes booked for dissent you say?
KeiranShikari 1,426 Posted July 19, 2023 If Rashica or Tzolis was booked for dissent you'd be ripping them.

A CB and a leftback (giannoulis is bad) plus replacements for any that move. Well i can see the same weak Midfield as last season , it would help out the midfielders going forward also the CB's , be interesting to see how it changes without a CDM

I can only assume that we're expecting a fitter and more tactically drilled team will make less mistakes. Of course it's a very risk/reward style of playing. I can't imagine there are too many sides in the league that wouldn't swap midfields with us if they could.

KeiranShikari 1,426 Posted July 19, 2023 Rowe needs to play most weeks and if he's doing that with us then we're not doing much this season. Granted he's probably better than a lot of our options right now.

Yes you are correct on Paper looks strong but they do not seem to play that way getting caught etc maybe more time to gel different coach , i think a sitting CDM in there would clean up if there was a mistake , Sara and Mclean push higher ,

I think it would have been Sainz and Hernandez but for the injury. He's obviously a more Wagner winger than Tzolis. We're probably trying to shift him and Placheta. Terminally Yellow 2,477 Posted July 19, 2023 Wonder what's in Kellen Fisher's head right now. Last year he was a non league footballer. Now he's playing in a friendly against the Europa Conference League finalists.

keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted July 19, 2023 I think we all know the positions that need strengthening. Another striker/goalscorer and a sitting midfield player.

Obviously not, I think wingers are by far our most important position to strengthen. Followed by CB and fullback.
