You clearly have trouble with what newspapers are. They report on news. An amusing study demonstrating in a lighthearted way how “AI” can be used was published. They tell their readers about it. They don’t own or have responsibility for it, in the same way they can report on Brexit without causing or supporting it.

 

And if you want better examples of newspaper drivel, I would suggest either the clickbait pictures of female celebrities in swimwear in the Mail, or the latest miracle cure for cancer etc headlines in the Express.

Norwich is due east of Wolverhampton, ie. north of Birmingham (and Leicester).  I dare you to tell them to their faces that they're southerners.

I don't care really. My views on Northeners and Southeners are about the same.

There are actually 2 counties in England which are Norfolk and TIN. In case you didn't know, TIN stands for This In't Norfolk.

Being a genuine soft southern Jessie I've never counted Norwich/Norfolk as the north, either. Neither one nor t'other.😉

It was a throwaway comment based on my current residence 

The terms "southerner" "northerner" etc don't really mean a great deal to me.

As someone who spent 3 decades in South Essex, Kent & East Sussex, I guess most others would likely think of me as a southerner
