Exactly - well it worked for Dean Smith.

Well he is the outstanding candidate and someone Webber has always admired…

I think Lampard might realise  he ain't management material after tonight. Time to sit back and enjoy his millions

That would be funny, but what about Martinez back, has he left the Belgium job?

Yeh but he’s a brilliant manager when he plays on FM 2022! 😂

Just to think there was a poster on here a couple of days ago who said that.............'the only way for Brighton is down' and 'we are a much sexier proposition than them'.   I do despair of some fellow Yellows at times!

Dean Smith to Everton!

I'm not actually sure who would be getting the worst deal there.

Possibly still them to be honest. Lampard did manage top 6 with Derby with next to no budget, albeit he did borrow a lot of players from his beloved Chelsea and they might not help him out again.

Taxi for Frank! Everton get Lamped by brilliant Brighton

11 min ago, Ben Sully

Brighton & Hove Albion thrashed a lacklustre Everton side 4-1 at Goodison Park to record three consecutive away victories in the Premier League (PL) for the first time in their history, and in the process, pile the pressure on Toffees boss Frank Lampard.

So the replacement might be Smith himself? Someone Webber has always admired?

Bit like when we scoured Europe for the best possible head coach and it turned out he was already in Norfolk (fancy that!)
