Norwich offered prankster a trial

Recommended Posts

Now this article is from the sun so take it with a pinch of salt but apparently a French prankster who set up a fake website to promote himself as a footballer was offered a trail by Norwich over the summer. The guy was apparently even offered a 15k a week contract with CSKA Sofia.

This story was in the Daily Mail over a year ago and the CSK Sofia incident happened in 2009.

And cambridgeshire started a thread about it..... 😉

This is my favourite thread to avoid the fact we've won five on the spin.

Will it be six tomorrow? Two tough games coming up. I doubt we'll win them both tbh.

If we do win them 2009 could become a safe haven🙃

If we win 6 in a row we've only done it because we ducked Burnley imo.

Says the poster who confidently predicted that 'Sunderland would smash us'. 😉

Let’s hope so, Sheff Utd just got a last gasp winner.

I did post that prediction before all of their manager drama and on the balance of play they absolutely should have beaten us.

Does it actually pee you off that we have won 5 on the spin?

No, it's great that we've one our last 5.

Just a way off being convinced by the performances.

Fair enough.

You could be right. The championship is a long and unforgiving season. We need to rack up points while things go for us.

There will be times things go against us. When that happens the team, manager and fans will be severely tested.

Even if this was true, and I have serious doubts about that, what's the harm in a trial? It's not like Graeme Souness who actually put one on the pitch in the Premier League.

It’s just a fun silly story

Maybe - and on the balance of play we absolutely should have beaten Cardiff, Hull and Wigan.
