Deptford Yellow 295 Posted July 20, 2022 By the looks of those ‘highlights’ Michael McGovern was our Man of the Match …
Jimthechip 39 Posted July 20, 2022 Man of the match was the commentator for his hilarious mispronounciation of many of Norwich names.

Could well have been 3 nill down at halftime if not for him.

What was it like at the game last night? good atmosphere etc? Surely you went with it being so close.

The worst bit was how they kept berating the fans who weren't joining in with them. Also had to laugh at the kid who got chucked out for the smoke bomb at kick off. I've never seen someone look so guilty, or be so stupid to go to Cambridge and get kicked out before the first minute had passed. If he did that at Carrow Road this season he'd be facing a long ban (rightly or wrongly) - is it really worth it?!

Ian 1,210 Posted July 20, 2022 Good quality finishes from Hugill, looking the part in pre-season. PS. I half expected this to be a self-compiled list of @cambridgeshire canary's best posts 😜
AJ 1,358 Posted July 20, 2022 McGovern's performance is nothing we haven't seen before, his shot stopping has always been excellent. Great backup when called upon, and a dead cert for being a cracking goalkeeper coach once he calls it a day but looking at players like Ruddy he could be around for a few more years yet if he stays in good shape
ec-p 117 Posted July 20, 2022 (edited) Good to see Hugill making an impact. It would seem that his pre-season performances and attitude have guaranteed his place in the match day squad this season. Welcome back Jordan! Edited July 20, 2022 by ec-p
