NeymarSmith 136 Posted January 8, 2022 In his prime, had a couple good years at champ level and scores goals. Can cross (may benefit hugill?) and is a bit of steel hardened player. Would be affordable with alleged interest at 2m bids accepted, and id imagine wages would be a good match to what we'd want to ideally pay l, considering the chance of champ football next year. We also know Wallace can perform in the champ, and he may well be able to produce in this league too. I understand he hasn't been tested at this level yet, but we need to fish in economically fair waters and we wouldn't be able to attract ready made premier League players (I completely understand the argument that is indeed what we need though but.another story...) Personally I'd prefer Jed Wallace over el ghazi. Finances read better to. As does the goal scoring stats, and lord knows we need this year and for sure next year regardless of league, especially consider the three who continued to always play pukki through to score have all gone, ie EMI Mario and steepi. Not particularly saying Wallace will unlock that but his gaols would be needed. Dean Smith may get extra from him. I'm unsure is what we need tbh, admin style of play but I accept that it may be transitioning so again, Wallace from Millwall could be that answer. Also, readers, just as selfish personal thing for me, today marks my first year that I lost my father, and God bless you all for providing some memorable and entertaining posts that me and him have had a good laugh over after we've been tonked on a Saturday! cambridgeshire canary 7,797 Posted January 8, 2022 Dont think he could do it in the Prem but would be a good option for the Champs. Would not be starting over Rashica however.
Midlands Yellow 4,682 Posted January 8, 2022 We’d probably go for Greg Wallace who would be a cheaper option but is a Millwall fan.
Ward 3 483 Posted January 8, 2022 Jed Wallace will be very handy next season along with Jerry Yates I think. BTW, how much of a n*b is Jack butland, so overrated, the Millwall goal I'm glad happened to him, he also think he's better than he is. Then starts time wasting on 80th min 🤣🤣🤣
glory.win or die. 273 Posted January 8, 2022 Iv said about him for 2 or 3 years now, I did also think Danny Drinkwater was worth a try but seems he's at Reading

TeemuVanBasten 3,328 Posted January 8, 2022 El Ghazi for me, let's sign somebody with proven pedigree for a change, like we did when we signed Huckerby.

We were linked with him a week or so back on what looked like a reputable site, but nothing since. Looking at the highlights reel, he does seem to have some pace and physical presence. Not just either a lumbering target man or a pure goal poacher.

Can't see Rashica staying if we get relegated personally, but could be wrong

It would be nice, but I can’t see what would attract him, also we need central midfielders who win tackles. Edited January 9, 2022 by Newtopia

Possibly, I saw he was being linked with West Ham, but it is hard to separate realistic rumours with those which are being create to maximise the players negotiating position.
