Lazza 63 Posted November 5, 2019 Bottom of the league with no saleable players left and a 15 point deduction more like.

But, the Maddison (sp, btw) sale was only possible because this "well run club" identified him at a young age, paid for him, developed him, loaned him to develop further, integrated him into the first team and made him a key player. So it's a good job our well run club does identify these talents.
Flying Dutchman 766 Posted November 5, 2019 Odd thread. Clearly relates to the accounts published (on which there was already a rather popular thread rolling when you posted this) and using a leading, open ended thread title for your own personal version of click bait? Bit much. Just a 'look at me' post. Something that seems to follow suit with your 2 weeks on the forum... So, erm, welcome 'Kenny'.

nutty nigel 7,902 Posted November 5, 2019 But for the things that work out everything wouldn't work out. It seems that we have a lot more that do work out than most....

Kenny Foggo 1,194 Posted November 6, 2019 It's an honest statement and 100% truth. If we are to state we have great owners then we have to acknownledge that with out a Madison sale we would be in **** street.. it's 100% the truth. It's not a go at the club or owners. It's fact. It's not a troll or a "odd" statement. It's an adult discussion point. Grow a pair and discuss... Or are you a bummer?

The Bristol Nest 597 Posted November 6, 2019 Shame. I quite enjoyed the idea that you'd just outrageously called someone a bummer and was looking forward to the responses.
Well b back 3,604 Posted November 6, 2019 Lol op I suggest we would still be in the Championship. Watching and having great players in your squad is great but unless you are Barcelona, Real Madrid or Man City if you are your clubs best you will move to the next level. As well as Leicester are doing Maddison is sort after property. Leicester if they sell him I am sure will use the cash to build a stronger TEAM. Even if you take just Beundia and Pukki they are worth more money than Maddison was at the time. At the time we had one saleable asset so he had to go to balance the books, now we have several saleable assets so the £38 million needs to be compared with the tens of millions of assets we now have in players.
