he 0 Posted August 26, 2018 The current set up with Farke/Webber has to be changed the coming days.Who is a suitable manager to end the decline and make the Norwich team great again?
KiwiScot 1,443 Posted August 26, 2018 Jocky McJockpants obviously
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted August 26, 2018 Webber is going to stay he''s been allowed to engineer a situation where he is central to the club. If Farke went I expect it to be another foreign coach as I don''t think many current first team managers in this country will be prepared to work under this structure. Cantiaci Canary 557 Posted August 26, 2018 This ain''t gonna happen in the near future. Farke will be given a lot more patience ... as he should be in my humble opinion.
JF 694 Posted August 26, 2018 Why!!?? If someone like Warnock was manager with Farkes record would you be saying the same? Seems that a lot of fans are giving this man far too much credit for his obviously limited managerial ability

Sussexyellow 55 Posted August 26, 2018 Discussions about his contract will happen before the second of those windows as it will have expired by then.

The project is the way the club is structured, the way to counteract the financial constraints. Under the current system it should be easier to replace the coach, whereas in the old system if a manager leaves the whole backroom staff goes affecting transfers, coaching etc.
king canary 7,606 Posted August 26, 2018 Spot on Herman. Amazed so many people don''t get this. Also Directors of Football/Sporting Directors are becoming more and more the norm these days- the idea that decent managers won''t want to work in this system just isn''t true. I’m sure there are many out there who could get more from the team than this. The ‘project’ do Require sticking with a manager that appears unable to adapt to championship football
Coneys Knee 953 Posted August 26, 2018
Russell Martin?
To be honest, this may not be as ridiculous as it sounds (or something similar). Maybe we should consider a caretaker approach and wait for the right candidate or rather pro actively seek the right candidate without the need for a knee jerk appointment. Just a thought. norfolkngood 1,087 Posted August 26, 2018 Under the current system it should be easier to replace the coach, whereas in the old system if a manager leaves the whole backroom staff goes affecting transfers, coaching etc. There is not a lot of difference to be honest if Farke was really successful and went to liverpool say he could just take all the coaches with him etc What i do not like is Webber is in the Boardroom with his excuses and he might well be the problem it is a bit like a player this system works for some clubs and not others it is not working here and i do not trust Webber to get it right Lambert and Mcnally have had more success than Webber
Herman 9,765 Posted August 26, 2018 The difference is that the old system made the manager responsible for nearly everything. So if he went he would take not only staff, but contacts etc. This system splits it in two or three parts. It maybe Webber and his contacts are the problem but at the moment the easiest one to get rid of is the coach.
