lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel) 0 Posted August 29, 2018 Turn it in, last nights result is papering over the cracks.Anyone seeing this as a turning point or a case to support Farkes football is deluded.

king canary 7,606 Posted August 29, 2018 I don’t think it will be a turning point but it seems odd to deny that it could be.

Duncan Edwards 2,236 Posted August 29, 2018 In all seriousness, beating Cardiff and sticking in a decent performance to boot will raise expectations for Sunday. Potentially, that could be a dangerous mix if we were to suffer an almighty reverse. However, with nine years of dominance and a far more talented squad at the disposal of Baby Farke, I can’t see beyond another resounding victory for the mighty yellow army. I’ll stick my fat neck out and say we’ll win with a -1 handicap. Lump on. COYY.

hogesar 9,672 Posted August 29, 2018 @kingNo, I would be surprised if a league cup win was a turning point but to dismiss a comprehensive victory as irrelevant when its been ok for people to call for Farkes head based on games where we have generally played well and been unlucky i.e West Brom and Sheffield suggests someone who is only interested in looking at the negatives.Which I completely understand is Lincolns ''thing''. Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted August 29, 2018 I have my doubts about farke but the worst result would have been a hammering. Our second team was better than theirs which must give some rise to optimism.
Icecream Snow 761 Posted August 30, 2018 Only thing the result does is to make it even more unlikely that we will bolster the squad via the loan route before tomorrows deadline.
