Coq au vin 0 Posted August 10, 2017 You inspired me Ron. Please read to the tune of ''Candle in the Wind''Goodbye Tony DreuThough I never knew you at all You had the grace of FabregasWith or without the ball. You came down from AccidemicsWhere the SPL is shiteThey set you on the treadmillTo help City''s promotion plightAnd it seems to me you lived your life in the under 23sNever knowing who to pass to in the senior teamAnd I would have liked to traded you for the real FabregasYour contribution burned out long before your legend forever lasts. Horse Renoir 1 Posted August 10, 2017 Would be decent at L1 level so for Coventry it''s a really good signing, should be good for 10-15 goals from midfield in that league, he''ll also get a bit more time on the ball than he got in Scotland''s frenetically paced div 1. Glad he''s off the wage bill for good though, was a total waste of money from AN as he''s nowhere near top Championship/lower Pl (which we were at the time.) Paul101 93 Posted August 10, 2017
£1 million, goodbye.
I very much doubt we paid to get rid Coventry would have just covered the last year in his contract as his transfer fee and signing on fee and then he will get his new wages on top
Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted August 10, 2017 Not his fault ridiculous signing and silly price gone back to his correct level league
Lessingham Canary 99 Posted August 10, 2017 Agree not his fault, but good news as it releases more money in the wage pot !

At least he''ll get some regular football and he''s off our wage bill so best result all round in the circumstances.

AJ 1,219 Posted August 10, 2017 Always a very odd signing and no surprise to see him go after AN leaving. The U23s might miss him though!
TIL 1010 4,746 Posted August 10, 2017 Good luck to him but i won''t be losing any sleep tonight about how we will manage without him.
FenwayFrank 2,459 Posted August 10, 2017 This was a ploy to make a bit more from his official 3rd kit shirt, now up to £54 so someone''s going to miss him
