Haggerdoo 6 Posted September 13, 2015 Mulumbu probably a few weeks away yet so who would we look to utilise to protect the back four?
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,035 Posted September 13, 2015 If he doesn''t get booked anyway, which he probably will, I suspect he may take a "tactical" yellow card at Anfield to serve the suspension vs WBA in the cup??
Lessingham Canary 108 Posted September 13, 2015 Probably going to be Dorrans IMO

Not sure.
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,035 Posted September 13, 2015 of course he can serve a suspension in the cup
Lessingham Canary 108 Posted September 13, 2015 Believed the count starts again after the ban, but you do have me doubting it now Indy, Ricardo will let us know i''m sure....
Branston Pickle 4,149 Posted September 13, 2015 It does seem astonishing that he''s already on the cusp of a suspension, but we should have Mulumbu back soon and Dorrans or O''Neil would be my guess as alternatives for his role. If a booking at Anfield would indeed mean the WBA game counting as his ban, he may well take a tactical one next week (though is likely to have been booked anyway!) - but he''d be far better not getting booked all the time; it wouldn''t be long until a longer suspension hits. can u sit down please 0 Posted September 13, 2015 Id go Dorrans, the person to protect the back four doesnt always need to be a tackler. First half i thought we missed him a bit, we were going longer than normal. I really rate him.
Katie Borkins 1 Posted September 13, 2015 O''Neil or Whittaker.
TalkNorwichCity 0 Posted September 13, 2015 I would be more than happy to see him get a tactical yellow against Liverpool which would then mean he''s out against WBA. Dorrans is more than capable of filling the role as well!
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted September 13, 2015 Lol whits at dm?! Never again! O''Neil is on our books for this exact instance, if its not him then why is he bothering stay with us.Good point about the cup though, it''d be a shame if he were to get a pretty booking the game before that one... ron obvious 1,711 Posted September 13, 2015 O''Neil I''d wager.
AJ 1,358 Posted September 14, 2015 As others have suggested it''d be more ideal for him to miss the cup game. Players like Oneil and Lafferty will be after some game time anyway so Tettey can have a rest.
Syteanric 1 Posted September 14, 2015 don''t forget Gary O''Neil, Premiership experience and no slouch at this level.
PaulineFowler 4 Posted September 14, 2015 Bradley Johnson?Oh...
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted September 14, 2015 Anywhere who takes bets on bookings? Might have a rare flutter...
Guest Posted September 14, 2015 You''d expect Dorrans to come in. To give a bit of extra defensive cover Brady could be moved up to left midfield.

ron obvious 1,711 Posted September 14, 2015 Was it Tettey who kicked the ball away (or wouldn''t retreat 10m or whatever) for his 5th card so he only missed a cup game? Seem to remember it being him - & the commentator saying what a stupid yellow card to concede so late in the game!
AJ 1,358 Posted September 14, 2015 Yes I believe this was last year when he made a ''tactical 87th minute infringement'' to get his yellow card - he didn''t seem to sad about his suspension for the following cup game anyway
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted September 14, 2015 Maybe after the first couple of yellows, this was the plan all along!
