So the board have overseen a dire premier season which resulted in our relegation. We now have appointed a man who has 5 games experience as manager who is expected to get us back at the first attempt!!!! Have to agree with LDH I really can''t see a Malky led team bringing us the type of football they were alluding to. His style of play has been mentioned by many posters and including a Cardiff fan and whilst he''s not a bad manager I can''t see him delivering the type of football the board speak about. One thing I picked up on that nobody has mentioned is that he said (DM), the new manager would not have the same level of support that Hughton had at his appointment. That worries me as to who we are going to get! OTBC

No Morty we''re not, but can we please get decent money for the players we may well sell.

I know he had a transfer clause in his contract which let him go for the same amount as we paid for him, but if you remember at that time he was worth more than we had paid for him. Doncaster has said the only way we cud have bought him was if that clause was in his contract and to me that''s bad management and typical of the recent transfer negotiations, we never seem to make decent money on our transfers, whereas years ago they used to keep the club financially stable.

I just hope that when and if we sell some of our better players we get a decent fee for them. Too many times in recent history we have sold players below their market value or let them go for nothing, Chris Martin being a case in point, Earnshaw being another in terms of transfer value.
