  1. I think he’s on a par with Rhodes...JR is a far superior goal scorer but MG is a lot quicker and works a lot harder IMO
  2. Does anyone think he’d be worth looking at if the JR deal doesn’t work out? I personally think he’d be worth a punt if the price was right....if only to pi$$ off Ipsh*t 😂
  3. I wish I could correct the name of this thread...
  4. I don’t know how to react to this...as I don’t know whether he’s ‘special needs’ or just a binner.
  5. And I was one of those fans who was gutted when we missed out on him... I recall him giving it the biggun when he scored a consolation goal for Forest at CR - twit. Huge bullet dodged there
  6. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwj6q7Wi37DiAhWRxoUKHSDHDtwQzPwBegQIARAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hitc.com%2Fen-gb%2F2019%2F05%2F19%2Freport-ross-mccormack-to-earn-70000-a-week-if-aston-villa-win-pr%2F&psig=AOvVaw1fuMzCARsReaO-9tCrHLeL&ust=1558669705928189
  7. And the door opens a bit more for Nelson to prove his worth... Before I get shot down...I know it’s not going to happen!
  8. I’m presuming you’re saying we should sign another forward to be the ‘2nd choice’ striker? IMO Rhodes is a decent option if we can get him for 2-3 mill....
  9. That’s exactly what I think they are
  10. Bakary Sako would be worth a look at in a pre-season IMO. I always rated him when he was at Wolves, he hasn’t really figured at Palace recently due to injury.. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bakary-sako/verletzungen/spieler/46791
  11. I turned it off at 3-0... that was enough to realise that NCFC don’t need to fear either of the finalists next season 😬😂
  12. Fair play to Eadie for talking so openly about mental health. ME covers a whole spectrum of illnesses - all of which are hugely debilitating for sufferers and should be treated with the same level of empathy and treatment as physical illnesses. People need to recognise the severity and seriousness of ME - much respect to Eadie for raising awareness and showing that ME can affect ANYONE.
  13. I used to work with a Portuguese bloke who supported Benfica. He referred to NO as ‘The Eternal Promise’...his view was that he is very talented (You don’t get through Benfica’s youth system if you’re s**t) but very Portuguese... When I asked him what he meant by that he said he displays a lot of the negative stereotypical Portuguese personality traits - emotional, moody, slightly depressive.... Despite the views of most (all 😂) posters on this topic I would still get him back in for pre-season and see what happens. If DF can get NO’s head in gear I still think he is an asset...even @ prem level
  14. Hence my original question... I just think that rather than paying over the odds for Rhodes or another, Oliveira is still a Norwich player and is worth considering. Judging by people’s reaction my opinion is not shared by most 😂
  15. Apologies all..what I meant to state was ‘Nélson is the best option BEHIND Pukki’ That is my opinion and I can’t see any evidence from the other two (appreciate that Morris has been unfortunate with injury & had a decent season at Shrewsbury) that they are better than NO....
  16. If you’re referring to him being pi$$ed off about starting on the bench (behind goal machine Jerome) vs Fulham and then behaving like a petulant child...that was 2 years ago. At the minute as far as I’m aware we have Pukki, Srbeny, Oliveira & Morris as senior strikers...and Nelson is the best option (IMO) Like I said it’s up to DF...
  17. No...are you trying to rock the boat? I have always rated him and genuinely believe we could do a lot worse than a 27 yo Portugal international. That said if he’s disruptive (no one actually knows this apart from those inside the club) then we should and will sell....
  18. I know there has been many a thread about the enigma that is Nélson...however I was just wondering whether anyone thinks he may still have a future with Norwich? His quality has never really been in doubt, but his attitude leaves a lot to be desired to say the least. I suppose it all depends on what DF’s view on him is as to whether we could use him next season. I would get him back for pre-season and make the decision from there. No sure how long his contract is (?) but I actually think it’s worth trying to reintegrating him into the squad. A lot will depend on his whether he’ll be happy to be he No2 striker behind Pukki - I personally think he’s a lot better than other potentials....
  19. Bamford on the other hand.... I’m still none the wiser as to whether he’s any good or not. At times he looks decent.. at others he reminds me of mbokani 😂
  20. Villa were demanding a ridiculous amount of money for him...£35 mill +! I’ve watched him a few times this season - he is very good IMO. I think if he manages to get his brain in gear he will be a brilliant player and play for England... I still prefer Emi though 😂
  21. I really hope you are sat in your seat at CR...counting down the minutes
