1. Lambert is was and always will be the Messiah. Never had I has so much confidence going into a game as when he was in charge. I would have him back in a shot. Anyone who disagrees is a binner.
2. With hapless hughton and pulis facing off against each other the phrase two negatives don''t make a positive couldn''t be more appropriate. We made a poor palace look like Barca in the second half Hughton out
3. Knowing Hapless he will play Bassong on the wing before the Murphy''s. He truly is a useless Cretan
4.
Probably not. But it sure will be fun reading the message board breakdowns if he still is. So, simply for that reason Hughton IN!
Typical plastic
5. Common sense says no but when it comes to common sense our board are lacking when it comes to hughton
6. They are on the titanic the band is playing on the deck they are up to their waist in water and still they don''t know they have a problem. McNally and Hughton out. Messiah back
7. No Herman hughton still in a Job and u r still king of the plastics
8.
Quite so, FTW. It really is a pity that so many of the apologists on here are so happy to accept second best. Wouldn''t you have thought that they would set their sights a little higher ?
The majority have turned against him now. there are a handful of plastics on here who still bang the hughton drum but they are getting isolated by the week.
9. I would give up the free tea and coffee if they could give us a present of any empty managers seat!
10.
That''s my major worry Cambridge. People see that he has worked with Fergie so he must have the capability to move into management. It doesn''t tend to work that well. But whoever is/maybe our manager I will back.
It is very easy to back who ever our manager is when you Don''t go to the games. Life in Plastic it''s fantastic
11.
With so many of you coming up with various names of who you would want to see replace hughton if he was sacked, i have decided to name two of my own. If Martin Jol is to be sacked, which is looking rather likely then I feel he would be a good replacement and possibly would be a great mentor to both RVW and Leroy Fer. My number one choice though would be Glenn Hoddle, this guy is so highly rated still after all these years and ive heard lots of football pundits claiming he is probably a better manager nowadays than he ever was. Supposedly brilliant with youth and I feel he has a lot to prove having been out of management for a while, the one down side would probably be his wage demands which could be high!
Nice try binner
12. I still fancy the highly effective but non aggressive white hanky waiving protest. Highly visible and their is no doubt as to whether they crowd support Hapless or not. So on Saturday everyone pack their Hankies!!!!
13. Last press conference stated he is out for palace as well. I am well suspicious about what is going on here. A sore toe indeed
14. That is my take he is doing no wrong in their opinion Wyett is much more balanced
15.
The problem with our away form this season can be summed up in just four letters. Hull. Spurs, Man City, Arsenal, Newcastle, Stoke and Hull. Had we got a result at Hull we wouldn''t be having this debate. But we didn''t and that meant to make the record respectable we needed to get something somewhere more difficult. Newcastle was our first chance and we blew it. West Brom will be the next chance.
Reading this post just makes me thankful that I do not suffer from dementia
16. There are 3 sports reporters who support the mighty Canaries. James Nursey, Charlie Wyett and Mick Dennis What is interesting is their individual takes on the situation only Charlie Wyett in my opinion is being objective. Mick Dennis is fanatically behind Hughton and he can do no wrong in his eyes. He is close to the board of Directors I often wonder if this clouds his opinion on the current situation. James Nursey is clearly close to Chris Hughton and again is very very supportive of him again is this because of the closeness of their relationship. Charlie Wyett seems close to neither and he gave a great interview on sky at the weekend where he made a lot of sense about the situation. Interesting to hear all their opinions but for me I tend to listen to Charlie Wyett.
17. This should be the result that finishes off hapless hughton if mcnasty has anything about him the penny must surely drop what a dreadful excuse for a manager hapless is
18.
Lambert brings on all 3 subs on 56 mins.
That is all that needs to be said!!!!
19. Live the dream Wiz manages to get rid of mcnasty. Villa sack the messiah and we can get rid of hughton and the second coming can begin
20. The players are not playing for him he has no choice but to resign but as he has no dignity he is waiting for the chop so he can get his contract paid up.
21. We were also supposed to be upgrading the sports science staff and our injury record is worse than ever under the previous team. Something isn''t right at the club at the moment. Let''s start by sorting Hughton out first and then the rest will follow
22. History will be kind to him. The Messiah and him will go down as two of the greatest canaries of all time. Halcian days deed
23.
McGeehan, based on what I saw on tv in the FAY Cup last season, looked another great prospect, but he needs to have improved significantly since then to be considered surely?
The relevant point is in" I saw it on tv" not I went to the game or do I ever go to a game no I saw it on tv. I wonder if there is a poster with a higher post per non show at a game ratio as our plastic Dubai friend. Why do people who never go to games seem to be the most supportive of Hughton. They don''t take the time to travel home and away to games and as a result don''t have the emotional connection of spending 10 hours travelling up to Newcastle and again witnessing a no show by the team. It really makes my blood boil
