1. fair play to them for letting the fans choose what they''ll have to pay £40 for. I''d love Norwich to do the same for next season (hopefully with better options though!)
2. Didn''t the club post this about 2 weeks ago??
3. I can only assume it''s because in the Championship anyone can beat anyone, and managers know it, so they have no reason to fear us. Whereas in the Premiership, going to places like Chelsea or Arsenal were pretty much foregone conclusions under Hughton.
4. Back training with former club Colchester. I imagine it''s likely he''ll sign as the club have been posting about it on the official twitter page so must be pretty confident. Best of luck to him. Surely he could''ve found a better club though?
5. Great read. Completely agree on our comparison to Leicester. Look at Hughton''s first season at NCFC for example. It was a pretty boring season, where we were only 1 defeat to West Brom away from being relegated. But all i remember is that looping Pilkington header over De Gea
6. Whittaker is nowhere near good enough. He''s decent going forward, but can''t afford to have players like him in our back 4 if we''re going to play so attacking minded.
7. I don''t think we''ll be seeing McGrandles anywhere near the first team any time soon... Vadis, on the other hand, looks like a decent player from what I''ve seen.
8. Are you all forgetting that all their best players are injured? Even with the likes of Ings and Vokes their chances of staying up are small, but nowhere near the worst team in Prem history
9.
Too big to be the plucky little underdog Too small to be the big team that takes it seriously We can''t commit our best players to it because the league matters the most and fixtures are thick and fast in the championship. So why worry when we go out? A day out at wembley would be nice but we aren''t doin anything different from any teams around us in a similar situation. Wish we''d drop the post cup knockout hissy fit that we get every year. Of course, followed by the baffling stupidity that is "if we''d have beaten Shrewsbury we''d be playing "x"(shrewsburys drawn opponent) next..." Forgoing all logic and rules of the universe
I think i might print this on a poster and parade it around the streets of Norwich, it''s that accurate. Thank you. I''d rather beat Blackpool 4-0 on Saturday than get beat by Man City in the quarter finals
10. First of all, i''m not doubting his quality or ability. Although he''s struggled lately, he started the season as one of our best players. But whenever things don''t go our way he looks like a constant threat of elbowing someone in the face or two-footing someone. Surely when you''re a goal down, the last thing you need is a player who could reduce us to 10 men which usually means game over. Or do you just seem him as a player with a lot of passion who, like every NCFC player should, hate losing a game regardless of the opposition? I can''t decide
11. With the size of our squad it would be unfair on the players not to even give them a chance. No one would moan about a ''weakened'' squad if we won 5-0. How do you expect the fringe players to prove themselves?
12. Easily enough quality to cruise past Shrewsbury, but it''ll come down to work rate and desire. Hopefully our fringe players like E. Bennett will want to take their chance to impress
13. He was very poor. I had a decent view of Martin''s foul in the first half and instantly thought it was a blatant penalty. He looked like the kind of ref which likes to steal the show
14. I''m going to go for an anti-climatic 2-0 win. One goal either side of half time, and a very comfortable but slightly dull game.
15. Looks like ''that old radio presenter'' isn''t doing too bad after all! Reckon the shops will be running low on humble pie tonight
16.
ZeroTo win five in a row would mean winning at Craven Cottage
hahaha, trust the Craven Cottage curse to burst our bubble
17. Simple but effective: ''We can''t say his name, We can''t say his naaaame, That boy Vadis, We can''t say his name''
18. Not really a surprise that we''re struggling in a league of 11 of the best and richest teams in the Premier league...and then us. But at least our future talents are being tested against the best of the best at U21 level
19.
....and there was me predicting them as an outsider for the play-off''s a few weeks ago....I think I must have missed my tablets or something
You certainly weren''t the only one! I think a lot of fans from both sides of the border saw us both competing in the play offs
20. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/news/11076866/Five-reasons-to-support-Non-League-Day-this-weekend.html As there''s still no NCFC action for a while, why not go down to support your local club. For me, being ''south of the ''border'', I''ll go down to my second club Leiston. The quality of football is often better than you''d think. If you have an NCFC season ticket or any professional club, or even a membership card of ANY sports club, you''ll probably get a discount on ticket prices (probably about £5 a ticket, Under 18s are free). There''s even a match finder if you need it: http://www.nonleagueday.co.uk/map.html Better than sitting indoors all day!
21. Seems far too similar to Kyle Lafferty to be worth signing. Can''t see the point of it considering how many attacking midfielders we have
22. Great video. My love for Adams reached new heights
23.
£10m. Good business.
That''s an incredibly good price if true. I was never complaining about the decision to sell Fer. It looks like we''re perfectly equipped to cope without him
