  1. Doesn’t get better than that. Bet365 paid out for Brentford and they still dropped points. Bliss!
  2. Mick wins then subsequently loses his next fixture. Bullet dodged.
  3. No new manager bounce for Sheffied Weds. Don’t buy this stuff about teams fighting for their lives. Wednesday are down there for a reason and it ain’t because of their points deduction.
  4. I can’t see it. I feel if we gain promotion/title with a few games to go i can see Farke starting a few fringe players. Zimmerman, Idah, Dowell, Mumba, etc could well get some starts. Give the likes of Pukki, McClean,Hanley, Krul, Aarons and Cantwell some rest time before their Euro’s/Euro u21’s as no doubt they will have a few friendlies before the comp starts.

  6. In all fairness its just a couple of them that are deluded. The rest seem to feel they would be in for a hiding which in all honesty we would destroy that current team.
  7. He is very insightful about us and like others have said he knows his stuff. Especially if we do go up will have to listen to the same old dross that Shearer, Wright and Lawro rehash! Though it does make me laugh how other forums would have us coming straight back down again. Do they think we are going to keep exactly the same team with no new signings? Webber, Farke and the rest of the team will have already been planning (probably during the first lockdown) what we need to do next time we get promoted and feel we will get a lot of business done asap.
  8. Waiting for The American takeover. Paul Cook to be sacked and Ted Lasso to take the reigns.
  9. This is why its essential to get promotion sealed asap as it gives us the best possible chance of recruiting potential players and gives us an advantage over 2nd place and the play-off winners. We look as though we will be up to around £20m with the signings of Gibson, Giannoulis and possibly - a big if - a hefty loan signing of Skippy.
  10. A lot of their fans predicting a win for them and a few going with draws. None of them think they’ll get beaten. Personal fav of mine is from one poster who claims they are the best in the league by default. Think he’s probably related to Paul Merson. I must be looking at a poorly dated table when i see us top 7 clear.
  11. I do remember him. Try to keep tabs on the academy players and was quite surprised he was released. He was technically good although was bullied off the ball a bit. Seems to have bulked up a bit more and maybe Non-league has helped toughen him up
  12. They are nothing special whatsoever. Teams beat them by pressing high as their defence is nothing to shout about. Their keeper has a mistake in him under pressure and their cb Pinnock seems to be the one who players target as the weak link. Plus with it being on Sky again whats the betting Canos will want to ‘get one over his old club’ and ‘have a point to prove’ even though he left many moons ago🙄
  13. Got to admire them bless them. They watch us on Sky and make comments that we’re not all that even with Wycombe sticking 11 players behind the ball. Bit of a backbone after their storming win against Stoke. Must have forgot their previous 3 defeats against ‘the big boys’ of The Championship
  14. Wow 4 away fixtures in 13 days. Thats going to test the legs
  15. Cracking result. Few red cards at the end too. Just had a look at Swansea/Brentford double and odds of 2.08. Another £5
  16. That time of the week again. The three teams in question are playing Bournemouth, Stoke and Bristol City. A blue laid down will return £40. I cant see nothing but a victory for Brentford but am hoping Bristol City and Bournemouth offer a little bit more. So hoping to see no returns on this round of games.
  17. Enjoy your £85. Swansea and Brentfors both won. Watford went 2-0 up and Bet365 pay out as a win regardless of result when a team takes a 2 goal lead. Rather be a fiver down bit will take the winnings. On to the weekend.
  18. Yeah see the odds change slightly. Got £42 in the end. I hope it is money down the drain. Can see both Swansea and Brentford getting results with their home ties. Blackburn are hit and miss at the mo. Watford have an awful away record but can’t see past an away win. Love to be wrong but i’ll take £42 if not and use some of that for the weekend’s games
  19. My fiver is going on a treble of Swansea, Watford (now include them) and Brentford. Return of £39.60 if they all win. Obviously would rather lose the bluey but if they all win then its a nice little bonus to have.
  20. Not for me. Full strength. Wycombe just showed they are no pushovers and if our home game was anything to go by we should be taking them seriously. I think we have 6 games before the International break so the likes of Buendia and Gibson will get a break. I presume the other 9 that started will all get call up’s though.
  21. Reported to be ‘tracking his contract situation’. Don’t know much about him to be honest bar playing for Brentford and having the same first name as our Buendia.
