  1. With no pubs near the ground - it looks like the best option is a pub near the station. Then paying a quid for the shuttle bus to the ground Are most fans heading to a pub near the station (The Norfolk - how apt) or taking the 10-15 minute walk into town? Be good to have a pub full of City fans, and not let the Col U fans in!  Bit of their own medicine!
  2. The most annoying thing is that all of us in the home end wont be able to sing it. Worse of all, the away support will be chanting at us in the home end thinking that we are Col U fans and we will just have to sit and take it!
  3. Although a 7-1 Norwich win has to be the dream, I am hoping for a last minute winner as there will be no stopping me from jumping up. It will be great to see how many city supporters are really in the home end then.
  4. be honest though come on.....have you ever seen Gerrard dive? of course not.....
  5. Thought someone would think that after my long absence from the message board. Some of you may remember me... I did go to the Pinkun end of season drinks before the Preston game when we went up. Would love to be able to remember who was there?!
  6. It hold''s 10,000 - just a stand name would help! wasn''t asking for seat numbers today''s events have certainly fired up some people......
  7. Good point... we were just sitting at work in anticipation of the game and our minds lost us
  8. 2-0 loss weaker team, more concerned about Saturday think our performance will say as much Prove me wrong please City
  9. just added another thread too - trying to work out where exactly we will all be sitting - on our best behaviour of course.....
  10. let''s stop moaning about the allocation - where are we all sitting  in the home end??? I know we can''t put exact details on here, but a rough idea would be good, before we buy! OTBC
  11. I''ve just drawn Poland and Croatia in my sweepstake so it looks like I will be supporting them.
  12. These are all very modest predictions, obviously not expecting much, but i still suspect that if they come true then calls for the managers head will be ringing round even though you expect nothing more of him. For the record, I predict 4th. Woohoo
  13. The 1992 - 94 shirt was my favourite as well... part of the reason I became a supporter.
  14. Did anyone go to the pinkun party a few years back - i think it was after the last game of the title season - against Preston. My memory is so bad i cant remember who i met and who i didnt. There were some nice nibbles on show.
  15. This is how it should be done...   A good old England GK, Graham Stack (ex Arsenal 3rd choice)   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXxChycLh3k
  16. Even ''The Sport'' magazine that you get in London is predicting a QPR win... maybe some bias there but its a bad time when that happens what ever way you look at it.
  17. Sorry... not sure the best area to put this, however I''m trying to find the best place to watch the boys on Sky on Saturday... I presume most places will be showing the Brum V United match, however if anyone knows anywhere in the Clapham area especially, I would be very grateful, plus it would be good to meet with a few of you!
  18. He also said that he wanted to step down to give the younger players (who will have more of a chance of playing long term in the future) a better chance of developing in teh national team.
  19. Just signed for Northampton... The revolution continues
  20. Absolutely not... everyone thinks we have a god given right to know everything about the internal workings of the club. Why advertise the fact that our best players can go if a certain price is met, if its going to happen, then at least let the clubs do some work and find out. People accuse the board of lying or such like... if every large, medium or small business let people know all of thier secrets, they would be in dire straights. If the board divolge deals, contract clauses etc, we might be happy, but for one, the players themselves wont... its like telling everyone here I  work for 26k a year in London and have a slight fobia of dead animals.
  21. Norwich Vs Southampton when i was about 13 in 92/93, Mark Robins scored in the 89th minute... hooked after that.
  22. Hi Guys Havent posted for about 2 years but still read every day. It really does make my day go quicker listing to the views and in-fighting going on. I have met some of you as well at a Pinkun get together in one of the pubs around the city, it was the final game of the promotion season against Preston which shows you how long it has been although I have been to other games since then. (please dont accuse me of being a part time supporter)! Anyway, trying to get back into some constructive posting but thought i would just reintroduce myself with this post. My mate is a Luton fan and i will be going to the game tonight. They really are poor by all accounts and have less team spirit than us. He was also quite wary of them purposefully making sure the game didnt go ahead earlier in the month. Anyway, for what it is worth, Im gong for a 2:0 victory to us. I just think we will be too strong although teh pitch could play a factor and force a very scrappy affair. Hope to speak to you all in other posts soon. Alex
