1. I am feeling quite positive about the season coming TBH.  I think we have one hell of a creative midfield with different options:I think Holt will bag us 10 goals, Turner will bag us 5, Snodgrass 5, Pilks 5, Howson is an excellent player, Elliot Bennett got better and better as the season went on.  The goals will be spread about rather than one stand out player I think.  Ruddy is an excellent keeper, I like Tierney at LB, Morison is good backup when he''s in the mood, Vaughan could be an excellent player if we can keep him fit, Jackson is improving and an impact player. With a couple of additions I think we will survive no problem.  My only reservation is whether Hughton will use the diamond formation as this suites Wes as he cannot play in any other formation (unless he is No.2 striker but he doesn''t score enough to warant that shirt). But overall we will be fine IMO!OTBC
2. I think we need to make 3 new additions before the transfer window closes and ship a few out:OutVaughan - (assuming he has asked for a move of some sort) loanC Martin - Sell - £250k - £500kS Lappin - Sell £0Adeyemi - Loan to a Championship club (make or break season for him)Smith - Loan out to Championship side (again make or break season for him)InLeft Back - Izaguirre is a decent shout - or get Naughton back to cover LB like last season but play RB when everyone is fitCentre Back - Curtis Davies is doing the roundsCentre forward - I have no idea.  Someone with pace who can turn a defender would be good as we have 2 big lads already so that counts Rhodes out for me unless you buy him as a long term replacement for Holt but that doesn''t solve our quick Defoe like option.  I appreciate Defoe is out of our league but someone like him would be excellent. What do you think?
3. I''ve seen him play on TV and he was Celtic''s best player by a mile.  He is very quick and would be welcome competition for Tierney.  I think Izaguirre would cost less on the transfer fee, less on wages and if Vaughan is off somewhere then it is good to offload him to someone quickly and save his wages.Assuming this deal will be done we need another forward who has a bit of pace, not injury prone and knows where the back of the net is.  Someone like Defoe would be excellent but he is out of our league unfortunately.
4. This is great news for Norwich as teams like Swansea, Southampton and other teams probably going to be our rivals next season are going to have key players missing whilst the season is in progress!  Result!
5. I hope Culverhouse stays as I think he is the brains behind the outfit and Lambert was the motivator. The other think is, I think Norwich know that Calderwood will be looking for a managers job asap and therefore he will be off and leaving a gap in the coaching team.  Therefore by Culverhouse staying put he will have his old job again to himself.  The other thing is Culverhouse probably knows Hughton from their Tottenham days so it could be a case that Hughton wants to keep hold of him for his loyalty.
6. To be fair Fleck was crap after he left us first time and we got good money for him although we paid over the odds to get him back.  He seemed frightened to shoot when he came back for some strange reason IMO.
7. Is it me or are Villa playing a cute game?  If Cully and Karsa have say 3 years left on their contracts by the time 1st July comes round then there will be a year less so the compensation would be that much less.  Or am I thinking too hard?
8. If you''re going to leave a club that has adored you for the last 3 years there are ways of going about it.  Ref Adam Drury.  Not a bad word said in his departure and when he retires he will be welcome with open arms.  Which will not be the case for Lambert (not for several years) and Holt if he carries on with this transfer request.Bewarned Holt, you are a long time retired and it only takes a divorce, a bad business judgement, a poor investment etc for your wealth to dissappear and suddenly you might need to come back to Norwich in some capacity and rely on the goodwill of the club and the excellent supporters.Act now....
9. Borini was on loan from Chelsea to Swansea in the Championship and he looked a handful.  He is big, he takes a decent set peice and has a good technique.  Maybe a good replacement for Holt?
10. I''d support Neville although I feel he may be prone to rubbing the players up the wrong way.
11. I just had a thought, has Lambert let our best CB go on a free so he can sign him up at Villa?
12. I would take 16th or 17th for the next 2 or 3 seasons and let the £40m roll in and set this club up financially for the next 20 years.I think someone has already made the point that we don''t want to be involved in survival Sunday, if we can avoid that for the next few years I will be chuffed to bits.If we can build a young talented sale-able squad as well we could sell a player for £15m plus every other season and that will be a decent budget on top of the usual £10m to enable Lambert to progress the club further.
13. Thank you for those of you who posted supportive comments, it is much appreciated.  There needs to be more trust and faith in people doing genuine things for genuine reasons. For anyone still interested the lady further up the thread called me within 2 mins of the message going out and as promised first come first serve the ticket is now gone.  I hope the lady gets as much enjoyment out of the ticket as I did this season.OTBCIn Lambert we trust!
14. My god, has no one ever heard of goodwill, honesty and integrity?  Why do people always think the worst of everybody?
15. Hi,Due to work commitments I will not be able to attend the football next season so I would like to offer someone my seat for the whole of next season.  I sit in the upper Barclay 3 rows from the front.I am not looking to make a profit just cost price so the tisket will be yours for £350.  Everything will be done officially in writing etc. and the ticket can be collected from my house. My mobile number is 07798725406 if you are interested. First come first serve.
16.
What? where has he had a rant at the fans? He had a rant at Stewart Jarrold asking about his and Holts futures when it was all about Drury''s Testimonial. Its my opinion that Lambert is sick of the repeated questioning of his loyalty to Norwich, he shouldnt have to come out every week and say he loves Norwich and has no intention of leaving, or every time a managerial vacancy is in the spotlight. This is all Media cooked up nonsense, i very much doubt Lambert spends his time on the Pinkun messageboard or listening to Canary Call either. With regards to openness its none of yours, mine or Stewart Jarrolds business to be honest. Lambert is Norwich City manager, he''s never said he wants to leave and its his prerogative to hold his cards close to his chest whether its his Manager position, future ambitions or player acquisition. Its nobodys business but his and McNally. Its ridiculous to expect him to come out every week and say i love Norwich, im not going anywhere and im not interested in the managers job at Villa, Liverpool, Chelsea, Burnley etc....
I never said anything about having a rant at the fans I said he moaned about the chatter on messageboards.  This to me this is completely different as only a handful of people use message boards compared to Norwich''s overall fan base I would have thought.Lambert would not be so stupid to do a Roedent and critisise the fans.
17. I have great respect for Lamberts decisions regarding the footballing issues at the club however I do find it a bit strange that he has chosen to have a rant about the speculation on the message board and in the media.  Surely Lambert is clever enough to know that if he comes out and says he is not going anywhere then the interest will move onto someone else?So by having a rant at the fans I find a bit strange as it''s a situation that he had full control over and could have knocked this on the head a couple of weeks ago.All we ask of Lambert is honesty and more openness.  I trust his integrity, now for the openness....
18. Lambert all day long.  Holt will be finished as a Premier League player in 2/3 years time whereas Lambert could be with us for longer if we can match his ambitions such as expand the stadium to raise the playing budget.
19. To be fair Kightley has hardly played this season and he looks like he''s trying the last few games when he has played. As for Fletcher, he''s Scottish so Lambert would have a decent opinion on him on top of what we see in the Premier League. He has scored 10 goals in a struggling team. Think what he could do in a team that creates loads of chances. I think we are in an unusual position of having quite a few players out of contract hence the one off large turnover of players. The key players would walk into the first team from October onward.
20. Now Wolves are relegated I think we should releive them of a couple of their better players such as Kightley and Fletcher and or Doyle (if he can rediscover his mojo). I was impressed with Kightley at our place and would be a good addition of he stays fit. I''d love to add Hoylet but I think he''ll want too high wages. If not Victor Moses off Wigan. This would give us serious pace on the flanks and an alternative threat to Holt up front. Add in Siggurdsson off Hoffenhiem to get goals from midfield Also get Frimpong off Arsenal on loan to give the midfield some bite. Naughton off Spurs on loan if we can''t buy him. Add in Gunter, Magugan and McLeary as wild cards that would be a good summer trading for me. Heading for the exit door: Lappin, Chris Martin, Morison, Wilbraham, Barnett, Francombe and Drury. On loan will be: Adeyemi, Smith, Rudd or Steer. This should set city up for the next 2 seasons IMO. What do you think?
21. I listened to Canary Call and I thought the comment was aimed at Rob Butler not Gunn.
22. What rubbish. Bennett made a simple mistake. I remember him making a last ditch challenge in the box which was class and this was after the mistake. He''s class and support him!
