  1. Birchfest "Perhaps another cross over item like the practical plastic bags... " Yes indeed, I''m thinking yellow and green inflatable Eddie Izzards as a tribute to the great man.
  2. Best indication of form is...... well your last couple of games I guess!
  3. The tumbleweed that blows through Portaloo Road will be soon be blowing through the Holt End. Villa fans like the scummers lack any strength of character and will continue to desert their team in droves. To spend your time sniping at your betters shows how little there is in your life.
  4. It''s all about not conceding isn''t it, there has been passion there has been commitment and hard fought matches but when you put everything into a game then let in a silly goal the whole thing just crumbles. You just don''t stay up conceding goals like we have been, but now it''s begining to look a bit different on that front.
  5. You can be vaporised in the knowledge that we are staying up Crabby, what joy.😄
  6. "You can throw your Caution to the wind" 😳 ( or words to that effect ) I''m buzzin'' like a bee. OTBC
  7. Sorry missed your thread Boadstairs. Yes blood and sinew all over the grass is what I''m looking forward to.😄
  8. Well let''s sit back and watch these boys kick $HIT out of each other.😄
  9. Agreed smooth. The Citeh game was a watershed, I don''t care who will score the goals, all I know is we have a spirit in the team that''s going to deliver enough points.

  11. One streaky goal will do fine for today Spillay. The important thing for me is the two clean sheets, we do have some creativity in the squad and if we can grow in confidence I''m sure we will create more chances.

It might have been scrappy but in my humble opinion we were the better team throughout and the victory was not undeserved. All round, the players did their job, got the result and will enjoy the journey back home. Completely agree Ron.
  13. If he keeps going for 90 mins they''ll be wrapping him in a clean sheet!
  14. A very good signing, very calm under pressure which seems to be rubbing off on the other defenders.
  15. A proud display, we are looking like a team again. OTBC

A much more cohesive performance which I am hoping we can take forward into our remaining fixtures. 1-0 City. Definite turning point that Citeh game, love it 😄
  17. Not sure what high standards people were expecting, we are bottom 3 remember. With that in mind we did well, the front two look comfortable, both full backs are linking well with the players in front of them, no real threats on our goal. A satisfactory first half.
  18. Looks like the 442 boys have got their wish

I would go with: Ruddy Martin Bennet Klose Ollson Jarvis Howson O''Neil Brady Hoolahan Bamford. Pinto to be used off the bench to replace either Jarvis or Brady. Also gives us options to go 3-5-2 if need be. Naismith for Hoolahan and I''m sold on that. Yep same here.
  20. I keep getting a strange line man say my click me and rotate your device, haven''t done it yet.
  21. Can''t imagine my hobknob without some chocolate on it TC.

  23. Well fixtures against WBA have been known to reignite our season😄
  24. Don''t take your knickers down! As I see it our success or failure over the rest of the season is not going to be down to individuals but a tight knit team working as a unit. That''s what pleased me so much about the performance against Citeh. Let''s forget individuals and look at the spirit in the team.
