Danel Sinani set to sign very shortly

For Sinai to come in, I believe a foreigner needs to leave as we have our full quote of 17 no English players. -
The losers from this pitiful attempt to retain premiership status is the fans, another without a season ticket rise, I should think so aswell. The management team have done a decent job, OK zonal marking, too late substitutions but the rest on the pitch is down to slightly above average players, well at least 60-40. But once again it's down to the board, totally no ambition as usual, and to hear during an interview Michael and Delia, say the biggest achievement in their time is to be debt free, well it's time you took ya money and got out, yes we should thank you for some of what they have done, but enough is enough.

I know most of you will think this is stating the obvious, but I think we can win enough points to stay up, but not with the current formation, style of play. I appreciate injuries to central defenders are an issue. I think we need to play either 4-2-3-1 or a back three, we look so open when going forward, and we then get picked off, this league is ruthless. Suggestion 4-2-3-1 Krul Aarons, Godfrey, Zimmerman or Hanley, Lewis Amadou, Trybull Buendia, Leitner, Vranic Pukki

Nathan Dyer has stated he felt he was badly treated by the Norwich City players on Saturday. Please share with me in saying, Our poor Nathan

Unless we do buy now pay later -
Was awesome today, best all round performance by a mile, Wheater didn''t have a clue how to stop him.

We witnessed on Wednesday how poorly we could play, but today we also witnessed how well we could play, everybody on that pitch wearing yellow deserves praise today, and let''s not forget Paul Lambert and his team. Come on you yellows

We are in a good position league wise, better than some of us expected, but the question is, should we expect PL and the board to use this opportunity to bring in another one or two before the deadline closes to further enhance our squad depth and quality? We have been in similar situations in the past over the years and when we thought everything was rosy only to fail at the next hurdle. Rightly or wrongly I am of the opinion we strike while the iron is hot, to further enhance our league position ans consolidate. Well should we or shouldn''t we that''s the question?
-
All of you in your own right are correct, but most you seem not bothered that, these players we are bringing in are as cover for the current first eleven as most of you think, but are the first eleven good enough!!!! Can you not see that that eleven needs to have some changes, that are better not the same, we can''t concede as many stupid goals as last year, and we are unlikely to score as many, so that spells only one thing a reciepe for disaster. Yes there may be more, let''s hope they can improve the first eleven.
-
I agree, and most of what you have said, I said in earlier threads, but as I have said, not expecting to compete with Liverpool. Just to add two or three players that are BETTER, not equal or worse. I''ve said enough now, I want us to succed as much as anybody, and hope we do, but don''t want to go down, after one season, want to start to build for the future, to emulate the likes of Bolton or Stoke, would be a massive achievement.
-
They Could, but could and can do are the difference between a fighting chance of staying up, and going done. I pray that everything goes as we all would want, but would rather be in a position that we all feel that it''s a real possibility of seventeenth and above, nothings a given with whoever you recruit, but you don''t go to a gunfight with a knife, would like to see two or three guns. It just might happen, fingers crossed, bring on Wigan.
-
Not saying any of them are lesser players, I don''t know. All I am saying is we still need two or three more players that ARE better than what we have to take us a stage further, I don''t expect us to be spending like your Liverpool''s or Man Utd just better than what we have. From league one to the championship we brought in at least four players that you knew would be in the starting eleven, we would not have been were we are now without them. So if these players are no better , the squad gets bigger agreed, but not better.
-
Not moaning, not disappointed, looking forward to great season ahead, and I trust PL''s judgement. But, how many of the signings so far are better than what we already have? So far they are additions to the squad, none you would automatically say will start the first game next season, not only do we need more bodies to increase the squad size, we need that extra bit of class, and not just one it needs to be two or three, Johnson rumoured, will he start? Yes these would be the type of player we could retain if you went down, but David McNally said we are staying there, not to be to be taken literally, yes we can do it.. PL in my eyes is King, but if he can buy players, that he can transform from either league one and championship to good premiership players, then I believe the next thing will be turning water into wine, or walking on water.

NO, Still no striker, does anyone think the longer this goes on, it will cost our place for automatic and even the play offs.We are always the last to come forward and splash the cash to speculate with the chance of another promotion.Trying not to be doom and gloom, but when we needed somebody on Saturday, Willie missed the target again, cant shoulder him totally with the blame, because it wasnt all his fault.Did anybody think Rob Edwards looked like a boy in a man''s game, Chris Brown was knocking him out of the way every time, whats the Yak going to to him if Whitbreads not fit?

Henri Lansbury - is he actually that good?
hps2031a replied to Jim Smith's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He''s not winger, and were is he played, on the wing.Ipswich he played straight down the middle, what was the outcome! He should be centre mid with Fox, Surman to the left, Croft''s to the right. -
How about Graham from Watford
hps2031a replied to Canary Wanderer's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Excellent choice gets my vote, but why would Watford loan him to us??????????????? -
He''s a cart horse. He was brought in as a striker, now Strikers, not only hold up the ball for their strike partner, they also chip in with goals; he looks as if he will never score. Iwan''s first season when he came here was poor, and look how he turned out, not saying he will be anywhere near as good as him. But any improvement has to be now, for us next season could be too late, irrespective of where we thought we were going to be this season, we are, where we are, so let’s stop messing around with players that maybe can do a job, and get somebody who can do the job he was bought to do, or do we accept that even if we don’t try every possible, it’s good enough, I know where my vote goes. In Lambert I trust, but not sure I trust his judgement on this!

Will Lambert change the team for Doncaster?
hps2031a replied to silver fox's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I thought Wilbraham did really well Saturday, what did he do well? if he''s not a goal threat then he''s not doing very well, seen him a few times now, not at Leeds admittedly, but looks a cart horse. -

Our options, are only loan players, but not sure for what period. What we need is another pair of loans like Huckerby & Crouch, it did it then, and I am sure it would certainly at least guarantee a place in the play offs. One striker that would help us at least until the end of the season is Kevin Phillips, been there, done that, got the Tshirt.PL his team and the board, not forgetting David Mcnally, have done an excellent job upto know, and that would still be a remarkable season considering were we were two seasons ago, lets not forget that, we should have every faith, come on you yellows. -
